“Quick, polite and fresh food. It’s hard to beat ChickFilA! I had the grilled chicken breast with a side salad and throughly enjoyed them both. And since I did such a great job of eating a healthy lunch…I had a small “ice dream” cone as I walked out the door. The ice cream was a little different than most soft serve. I’m not sure yet if I’m a fan…“

“By far, some of the best wings you can get. Philly Cheese steak was very good. Service was fantastic. Booth seats need a little padding to make them a bit comfortable.“

“In many ways, this particular Taco Bell delivers exactly what one expects from the brand: familiar flavors, predictable preparation, and a quick meal that satisfies the midday craving for something salty, warm, and indulgent. On this visit, the food itself was precisely on par with Taco Bell’s national standard. The new menu item—the Chicken Bacon Ranch Chalupa—was especially enjoyable, offering a pleasant twist on the chain’s usual fare.
Orders were prepared efficiently and arrived with commendable speed considering the lunchtime crowd. Inside the dining room, service was anchored by a notably attentive cashier who seemed to function as both host and air-traffic controller for the steady stream of customers. She kept guests informed with frequent updates on orders and moved with clear intent to ensure that meals were organized and delivered as quickly as possible. Her attentiveness added a welcome human touch to what might otherwise have been a routine fast-food stop.
Where the experience faltered slightly was outside. The parking lot, while serviceable for compact vehicles, proved challenging for larger ones. Drivers of full-size trucks—particularly those exceeding twenty feet in length—may find themselves navigating a tight squeeze. During my visit, the drive-thru line wrapped around the building and briefly blocked my parked vehicle for roughly ten minutes. Once an opening appeared, extracting the truck required something closer to a six-point maneuver than a standard reverse-and-go.
That said, the congestion is perhaps less a flaw than a testament to the restaurant’s popularity. The drive-thru remained consistently busy throughout the visit, its line looping around the building without ever quite dissipating. While it moved steadily, it never truly shortened. In contrast, the dining room service appeared noticeably faster.
The lesson for prospective diners is simple: this location is clearly a lunchtime hot spot. Arrive between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and patience will likely be required—particularly if you intend to use the drive-thru. Those willing to step inside, however, may find the experience quicker and a touch more personable.
In short, the food meets expectations, the service inside is attentive, and the crowds suggest the restaurant is doing something right. Just bring a little extra patience—and perhaps a slightly smaller vehicle“
“Our first visit to the new Sonic in Waynesville was so nice. Everything went well. Service was quick, food order was accurate, food was delicious and hot! Ani, our carhop, was very nice! I loved all the options on the menu. Please keep up the awesome food and service! Thank you for coming to Waynesville!“

“There are places you go to eat because the chef studied in France, and there are places you go because somewhere deep in your soul you miss square pizza, wax paper cheeseburgers, and chocolate milk in a carton.
This place falls squarely into the second category.
Now before anybody gets all worked up and starts writing letters about “fine dining,” let me explain something. Not every meal has to arrive on a plate the size of a hubcap with parsley sprinkled around it like somebody cut the yard too close.
Sometimes a man just wants a cheeseburger that reminds him of the eleventh grade.
And brother, this place will take you there quicker than a Foghat song on an eight-track.
I pulled in and immediately knew what kind of establishment I was dealing with. The curbside setup looked like one of those old drive-ins where you halfway expect a girl on roller skates to slide up beside the car and call you “hon.” It’s the kind of place where you can almost hear baseball games on AM radio even when nobody has one turned on.
The burger came wrapped and stacked exactly like the ones they used to serve in public school cafeterias back in the late seventies and early eighties. Not “inspired by.” Not “elevated.” Identical. Same smell. Same taste. Same mysterious comfort that somehow made a Friday seem survivable.
I took one bite and fully expected the vice principal to walk over and tell me my hair was too long.
The country fried steak looked suspiciously like it came off the back of a Sysco truck sometime during the Carter administration, but I’ll tell you what — it was hot, crispy, covered in gravy, and came with two sides that would stick to your ribs all afternoon. Sometimes that is exactly what a meal ought to do.
And the blueberry cobbler? Mercy.
I don’t know whether somebody’s grandmother made it at daylight or if it came in frozen wrapped in plastic. I know this: put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of it and suddenly all is right with the world for about fifteen minutes.
Now let’s be fair. This place is not five-star dining. Nobody’s shaving truffles over your fries. Nobody’s discussing “notes of citrus” in the tea.
But there also ain’t a blessed thing wrong with it.
In fact, what this place serves better than anything on the menu is memory. You don’t just eat here. You remember here. You remember cafeteria trays, football games, small-town summers, station wagons, and when life was simple enough that supper and a milkshake could improve your whole day.
That’s worth something these days.“

“This appears to be a fairly new Hardee's. The store was really clean. Our cashier was friendly. We ate lunch here and the burgers were delicious. I had the Superstar burger combo. One of our party had the Frisco burger and was well pleased. Another had the 5 piece chicken tenders and they commented that they were very good. Hardee's sometimes get a bad rap but there burgers are actually very good. Lots more flavor than Mickey D's.“

“This location has the best sandwiches. It's the only one I'll go to these days. I was present when a women in front of me was being a bit difficult and upset with something and the staff was doing everything they could to make her happy. Great work!“

“We’ve never been to Arby’s before, So we decided to make a stop for food here. We came by around 1:00 PM, and the girl that took our order in Drive-Thru was very polite and patient. Whenever we got to the window we were greeted with a smile and a hello which is rare in places like that lol. She didn’t have a name tag on so we asked for her name which was Izzy. We checked the bag, and everything was correct and fresh. Thanks Arby’s! Definitely will be coming back.“

“Thought I would try the Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper with Bacon and I ordered the value meal 😋 I would have to say that I have a new favorite for sure. If you haven't tried it yet I defiently would. A must try for sure giving the Whopper a little sweet taste and savory combination with the bacon and crispy onions added. Suggestion add side onion rings or jalapeño bites.... yum!“

“It's a McDonald's, we placed a mobile order. The first window said it wasn't there after we confirmed it at the speaker, then the second window was screaming they had it. After fifteen minutes of looking we did have everything in the order.“

“Great customer service! Pulled in at the drive thru and asked if the chicken livers were fresh. Next thing I know an employee is running out the back door with liver samples for me to try! 5 stars to the employees working today 8/23. And the livers were fresh and delicious!! Thanks for the great service.“
