“I can say, maybe just this steakhouse or others in general, if you go at certain hours, you'll get a steak that's not gonna be cooked exactly the way you want it. I can say it's either the cook's or just the time of day you go, between 12 to 3pm, they cook great, but say on a late night or evening weekend, not so much...“

“We found Mellow Mushroom on a trip it was in Tennessee and we feel in love with their fresh food and great sweet tea and they have friendly service. Can’t wait to go back ♥️🥰“
“Cocktails are delicious and expertly crafted. Fine attention to detail. Homemade spirits are really good. So smooth.
Cocktail bar is comfortable, with lots of cozy seating and intimate nooks to settle in, despite being a literal warehouse facility.
Owner is super friendly, takes great pride in their product and the experience. She's also on the board for the state distillers association and actively trying to promote the business.
They participate in Harvest Host, and is an excellent choice for a friendly stopover for those on the road.“

“I was having an argument with my brother about which burger was better, a whataburger or five guys burger? However I had never eaten a five guys burger. So I decided to give the five guys burger a try to settle the argument with my brother. I have to say, I see the difference in the taste quality when it comes to both places. Five guys burger has a taste quality that doesn’t get old. After a few times at whataburger which was great at first, however I began to get tired of it. Five guys wasn’t only refreshing but an amazing burger. Seriously the taste doesn’t get old. Only complaint I would have is, five guys needs ranch to serve to their customers. Other than that Kudos!“

“We happened upon fresh chef and decided to stop and try it. The service was amazing, atmosphere is great, food was AMAZING we had gumbo and shrimp with grits which is something that’s usually hit or miss most places, but they nailed it and we will definitely be back. Shout out to Elaine who was so friendly!!!!“
“Met my boyfriend for our first date here 3 years ago. Just recently moved back to this area, was looking for a chill coffee spot. Went here once by myself. Neat spot, good atmosphere. We sat inside. The cashier stared at us the whole time and asked us to hurry. They told us we had a limit of an hour inside. We didn't question it and left. This was 3 years ago. Could of been my new favorite coffee spot. Have not and will not be back.“

“I'm from out of town and staying at a nearby hotel. I'm always up for good ice-cream. The owner was very helpful putting together what I wanted. Layered Sunday of a brownie, chocolate ice-cream, hot fudge and whip cream.

“Food was amazing, but they don't have any lids for the "water cups." Every restaurant is free to play whatever silly games they want to play with their customers who choose not to drink soda, including the "special water cup" game. But when your game ends with my daughter spilling water on herself during dinner, you lose a star.“

“I had been wanting to eat at a real country kitchen food, had been in some but haven’t found one that I satisfied.
Today, I found one: this Granny’s Country Kitchen in Claremont, NC
The ambiance was casual, family oriented, and food was very yummy, service by a young, pretty and efficient Cami, the reasonable prices made an amazing lunch!
I told my husband that I wished this restaurant was in our neighborhood.
Highly recommend to those who travel to this part, it’s a must stop for lunch or dinner, besides a great meal, we support the local as well.“

“Vittles in Lincolnton is truly a delight and can be considered as one of the top dining places in town without much effort. The friendly smiles and the great feeling of southern hospitality that welcomes you in the very moment of your arrival make you feel absolutely comfortable. The surroundings are simple and warm, a nice, neat place that is suitable for the company of a family, friends or even a casual date night.
The food here is excellent to the point where you can hardly say anywhere else. Each meal is done perfectly, bursting with flavor, and it is very obvious that it was made with a loving heart. No matter the bite, you can feel the freshness, whether it is from the meats that are seasoned to the perfection, the sides that are filling, or the desserts that are just right in terms of sweetness and comfort. The amount of food that you get is more than enough, thus making you leave with a full stomach and the prices are even lower than what you would expect for the quality and quantity you get.
What really sets Vittles apart, though, is the service. The employees are extremely friendly and they can do everything to make you feel treasured as a customer. Beverages are filled up without delay, dishes are brought hot and the servers are always around with a smile to check on you. Nowadays, it is very difficult to find a place that does everything perfectly - from serving food and providing service to the atmosphere - but Vittles is one of them.
In case you are a local of Lincolnton or just a visitor, you should definitely stop at Vittles. It is the type of place that makes you remember the good food and nice people that never go out of fashion. I mean, a full five-star mark!“

“We love Hardee’s, but we were very disappointed on our last visit, we ordered 10 piece chicken tenders, we got home and we had very small pieces. We called the store and the employee stated that they decided to fry up some end pieces. Very disappointed, not enough to serve the 2 of us, thank you .“

“I decided to stop in to grab a cold brew during a grocery run on Saturday 5/17/25 around 12:30 in the afternoon. Per normal, the Target Starbucks line was rather long, but I was luckily shopping kid free that day and in no rush to scurry back home, so I waited patiently (all the mamas understand). I would guesstimate I waited between 10-15 minutes and the entire time only one person was working, a very tall, dark haired man. I wish I had gotten his name because I would love to give him the biggest shout out! The whole time I was in line I watched him seamlessly take multiple orders and make their drinks all in a line like a bar tender. He never messed up, never faltered, and pumped out coffee to the masses like a pro. You know how us white girls can get about our sugar flavored drinks, and he met every single one of us in line with a big smile and welcomed greeting. He held polite conversations as he worked and even made sure each person got their correct order handed directly to them, instead of just slamming them on the counter for you to find. I'm not sure where you found them gem of a gentleman, but during the time I was there, he made each and every person feel like their order was important and even the grumpiest Karen seemed to leave in a better mood (that may have also been because they finally got their caffeine fix for the day). He made sure when taking your order you didn't miss anything, and would double check to make sure you have everything you want when he handed off the goods. He'd even offer to fix your drink if you have any issues. I know it's stressful being the only one working (I'm hoping there was a coworker on break and Starbucks didn't just fail this man by having him work alone on a Saturday), and I hope he knows how amazing he is to take a deep breath, grit his teeth, and keep on pushing through as if nothing was the matter. I don't even know if my cold brew tasted good or not because the only flavor I could taste was pride. Whoever his mama is, should be proud.“

“Anytime we go the food is always amazing and the customer service is top tier. We usually order ToGo or get a take out box from the buffet and either way the food is great! I've never seen a restaurant give you the option for 1) buffet 2) buffet to go box priced by weight AND 3) order by phone/online. They really accommodate to any preference of eating.
Incredibly family oriented-we're not SUPER regular but we've been enough that they knew who we were when my mother picked up food for us after we just had our baby, and we even brought him to meet them the next time we went. I'll tell anyone, anywhere, to try Jins of Lincolnton because they really are the best (and they have the best egg rolls I've ever had!)“
“Went in with no expectations and came out pleasantly surprised. Food was good, definitely seemed fresh. Fries were eerily similar to McDonalds, which were pretty good. Lettuce was nice and crunchy, tomatoes were good, and the wait wasn't long. Would eat there again without hesitation.“

“Food was good, but the restaurant was dirty, the tables in need of cleaning.
The teenagers working there were doing their best, but no one was in charge, so there was much counter leaning when table cleaning and floor sweeping could have been done.
Chipotle menu is excellent for good health, but, dang, clean it up.“

“Thankful they were open after Hurricane Helene. Of course, with the nature of everything going on, there was quite a wait time, but the team served us with a smile and the food was great. Thank you all for your hard work, it was a blessing.“
