“Saigon Garden is easily the best Vietnamese restaurant in town. The food is consistently fresh and full of flavor. Their fried rice is always delicious, the pho is rich and comforting, and we usually order the duck as well, which is always cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.
The service is friendly, the portions are generous, and everything comes out just right every time. If you’re craving great Vietnamese food, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!“

“The owner Augustine and his entire staff are incredible. They're professional and efficient. Love the seafood, lightly breaded. Good ambiance and restrooms are clean.
I love that they give you your drink to go too. All waitresses/waiters are nice. And the menu is easy to navigate with reasonable prices. I will come here for as long as he owns the restaurant! I love the calamari, it's full pieces not just rings. Everything is good on the menu. Neat how they have a drive thru also!“

“Today was my first visit in the cafe after hearing such great things about it! Our waitress Mikayla was wonderful! The cafe was packed - as it was lunch time.. but she kept our drinks filled and kept us updated on our foods time to come out! Food was great and service was 11/10!“

“We happened upon fresh chef and decided to stop and try it. The service was amazing, atmosphere is great, food was AMAZING we had gumbo and shrimp with grits which is something that’s usually hit or miss most places, but they nailed it and we will definitely be back. “This hole-in-the-wall offers some fantastic Vietnamese cuisine, with friendly staff that are quick on their feet, and quick with your order, even though it was fairly busy. The dining room is a bit lackluster, but the food and service more than make up for it. Give this place a try for something different made right.“

“I had been wanting to eat at a real country kitchen food, had been in some but haven’t found one that I satisfied.
Today, I found one: this Granny’s Country Kitchen in Claremont, NC
The ambiance was casual, family oriented, and food was very yummy, service by a young, pretty and efficient Cami, the reasonable prices made an amazing lunch!
I told my husband that I wished this restaurant was in our neighborhood.
Highly recommend to those who travel to this part, it’s a must stop for lunch or dinner, besides a great meal, we support the local as well.“

“Fast Chinese food. The food is good. They cook using the normal mixed chicken parts that most Chinese restaurants use. I am looking for a place that uses all white chicken pieces, but I have not found one yet. Overall good food, and a good choice when on a budget. A small sesame chicken will feed two of us.“

“Yes, part of the LR family supporting the college/university all my life. Always thought it special to make a trip from Lincolnton with my wife, LRC '68, for a good time in Hickory. Now much older and living in Hickory, I slip away often to Kick Back's for lunch. Love the service and friendliness of the staff.“

“Husband and I eat here when we're in Hickory and are wanting good breakfast food The food from the breakfast menu is consistently good and freshly prepared. The servers are usually attentive, though it seems like there may be a shortage of staff during high traffic times, which carries over to the quality of service in both general attitude and attentiveness. Overall, the atmosphere is bright and pleasant; however, some of the tables and seating, including the booth seating, are very worn and could use some updating for comfort and looks.“
