“we went here for lunch and absolutely loved it! we tried the ice cream, homemade pizza, chicken, sundae, and burger. everything was incredibly fresh. staff was kind, friendly, and attentive to our order. since it was raining, staff offered to bring our food to us in the parking lot. the pizza especially was flavorful, well-balanced, and not too heavy or greasy. we will certainly be returning!!“

“Not certain what's up with all the negative reviews. We brought our dog in for a respite from the heat and was welcomed and served right away....well, he was served first, lol. Normal size scoops of delicious fresh-made ice-cream. He got the deluxe pup cup. Prices seemed pretty normal to me. Im certain if you get the Dubai Chocolate that'd be a different story, so watch what you order! Highly recommend!“

“Stopped for the ice cream fell in love with the cookies. The ice cream is from a NC creamery and I recommend the Lemon Crunch 🍋 But the cookies are a blessing for your taste buds. I got the coconut cookie and my husband raved about the white chocolate macadamia. I wish we had tried this sooner... but it's 10 miles down the beach 😆“

“Been here a couple of times, once during the summer and the other time during the off-season. Both times the place was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the portions were better than anticipated. It's my new favorite ice cream shop on the OBX!“

“Great ice cream! I got banana pudding. But for 4 ice creams, spent $36... 3 cones that were double scoops, and 1 bowl that was a double. The cones luckily were HUGE, and closer to 3 scoops. Guess they filled the cone, and THEN added the 2 scoops. So almost a triple. Overall, worth it at the end of it for the price. However other places around I could easily spend $20-25 on Ice creams similar at smaller mom & pops, however the quality of the ice cream was better than the place called The Spot around OBX.“

“I've been coming down to the Outer Banks every November for the past 32 years. Somehow I had never ran across this gem. The coffee and ice cream are perfect. We really enjoyed the malt. I also thoroughly enjoyed their specialty menu for The Fall season! We went several days and enjoyed the view, everyone that we met who worked there was great! We loved the swanky seating, the eccentric seating, and the overall beauty of this place! HIGHLY recommend checking it out!!!“

“I have been vacationing here in Nags Head for the past 9 years. We LOVE the Outer Banks area. So laid back and relaxing. My husband & I actually own 6 weeks in a villa from Mid February to End of March to escape the Winter snow of upstate NY. One of my MUST VISITS is this Sugar Planet! I love the variety of candies that you can mix by the scoop fulls of my favorites. They also have nostalgic candies and some I’ve never even heard of before. Don’t be fooled by the name 'Sugar Planet'. Clothing, mugs, jewelry, hats, etc. It could almost be your one stop shop for all souvenirs! I’ve been in here 3 times alone in the past two weeks! Michelle was extremely helpful as I was looking for something special to take back for my daughter-in-laws. Together we found the ‘perfect’ items! Thank you Michelle. Today there was a young man training at the checkout, Carlos, was very kind and polite. I do love this Southern Hospitality!“

The service is consistently friendly, and even when they’re busy, the staff keeps things moving. The Blizzards are always mixed just right (you’d be surprised how rare that is!), and the food is always hot and fresh.
