“I had the pleasure of trying their fall season roll and it was delicious. Tempura with a spicy sauce you don't even need soy sauce with it fresh ingredients and explosive flavor 10/10 roll. I also had the chicken hibachi which was your standard express hibachi dish, it was good but nothing that stood out to me. “My experience here has always been top notch and delicious! It has been consistently great from when I was pregnant to now sharing meals on dinner dates with my son. “I love this place the food is soooo good! I’ve been there twice and everything we’ve got was delicious. We tried the miso and tonkatsu ramen, tonkatsu bento is a must!! The sushi is also good and fresh. I recommend arrive early since there’s always line. The service is pretty good too.“

We had to s of leftovers. The fried calamari was plentiful for the price but was chewy and flavorless without the dip. Sushi was delicious. Appreciate the atlanta b/c could actually take the fish. Wait time was short, and the service was attentive. We will def come back again.“

“It’s a laid back environment. I did take out. I ask for Philadelphia hand rolled sushi which is usually an up charge but it’s the same price as the regular roll. I finally found the roll I’ve been looking for since I left my old area. I also got fried rice which is just plain fried rice with egg. The egg drop soup portion is double the size of soups I’ve ordered before and for the price I’m not complaining at all.“

“This is a hidden gem in Charlotte. Although technically in Dilworth, it’s close to South End and it’s the best sushi I’ve had in Charlotte so far. Somehow it’s never packed and you can walk right in on a Saturday night with no wait, which is shocking considering how good the food is. We got the crispy rice with spicy tuna, hadouken roll, edamame, and chicken/shrimp hibachi and everything was amazing. Very fast and great service as well. “Went for the 4.7 rating. I wasn't that impressed, and neither was my sister. I ordered General Tso, which was nothing special that stood out. It was fresh and crispy at least, but the sauce tasted more like a honey sauce with no spicy kick at all. I like my crab rangoons, sweet, but these were way too sweet. Almost like candy. The crab rangoons could be a dessert. I threw away that sweet red dipping sauce after I tried one plain because I was not trying to get diabetes. The chicken wings were smaller than expected. They were also super salty. I needed a drink after the 3 of the 6 tiny wings. The shrimp was smaller than average. Not the tiny salad shrimp, but maybe one size bigger. My sisyer said the steak was a bit over-cooked. Extra sauce is $1. The drinks are cans. There are a few tables to sit and dine in. 1 shared bathroom for men and women, which was essentially well clean.“

“Went here for dinner with my husband, cool vibes and good sushi! Got the spicy tuna roll, the Southend Roll, a Kani Salad and the Super Rainbow Roll. It was really great fish to rice ratio for the rolls and the Southend Roll was very delicious! Tried one of their November special cocktails called the Campfire Mule- with Makers Mark, Lemon, and Maple Syrup topped with a toasted square marshmallow which was good! Nice place to grab good sushi!

Parking: There is a paid parking lot/paid parking spots across the street from Sushi Hana. There is also a sidewalk sign outside of the restaurant where they show you where you can park for free also!

“Dinner with the fam! Love going to Yama when in the mood for sushi. My go to is the rainbow roll and Salmon nigiri. Also had the yellow tail nigiri (second favorite). Tried one of the specials, Salmon belly, but I'm still not sure how I feel about it. We were told it was smoked, but it came out cooked. So a bit misleading. Definitely prefer my salm raw. Tried their Lychee martini, and that was delish!“
