“This was our first visit to Eddie V's, and while the food was good, the overall experience fell short of expectations for a fine dining restaurant. We arrived about 7 minutes late for our reservation due to traffic and ended up waiting another 25 minutes to be seated. The complimentary glass of Prosecco for the delay was appreciated. However, service throughout the evening was inconsistent. Our server was polite but not very attentive—he seemed to realize this toward the end of the meal. Even when the manager stopped by our table, my glass was empty and wasn't refilled. The server did offer us a complimentary dessert, which we initially planned to order a dessert, but after waiting quite a while, we decided to pass. We did accept it since it was complimentary. The steaks were well-prepared and flavorful, and the lobster mashed potatoes were tasty, though a bit light on the lobster. We also ordered oysters and requested crackers; our server mentioned bringing lavash crackers but never did. Overall, it was a nice meal, but for the price point and the fact that we drove over an hour to dine here, we expected a higher level of service and attention to detail.“

“A rare gem in Charlotte yes it can be found in a strip mall like so many spots here. Your not coming for the location. Your coming for some of the best food made in Charlotte. One of the best restaurants in my humble opinion. A must if your a foodie do people still use that term?. I was even able to get a sneak preview of a sticky rib dish with some rice cakes. I make a point to come here often.“

Our server Staton was exceptional — completely familiar with the menu and specials, as well as the wine list. Never intrusive, he provided personalized service at every turn. I loved the Waygu filet, which was perfectly cooked as requested. Started with a cup of lobster bisque, lots of lobster meat, a bit thicker than I might've liked, but I still ate every bite. We all shared the potatoes au gratin, mushrooms and creamed spinach. Other guests had the porterhouse (recently returned to the menu), and the filet. The Bearnaise sauce accompanying the filet was excellent. All in all, a really nice night out at Capital Grille!“

“I just moved to Charlotte, and this is great sushi. I can be quite picky, I used to work for a sushi restaurant whose owner was a third generation sushi chef from Ōsaka. “The Ugly isn't ugly, it's quite beautiful.

This is a neat bar near the tracks & Chamber by Wooden Robot. If you aren't looking for it, it's actually quite easy to miss.

Inside, there's old time bar mirrors & decor which fit the bar perfectly. The bartenders are quick & do a solid job.

There's option of different types of ugly cocktails but let's be honest, the $2 Narragansett is the best deal in Charlotte. The cocktails are affordable for Charlotte which gives them an edge over many other options nearby.

I'd recommend coming down, getting a gansett & a shot, & enjoy your time chatting with the locals.

“As a Korean from the West coast, I can say with utmost certainty that this is the best Korean food you can get in Charlotte. Kimchi is always fresh and has amazing flavor, perfectly balanced and has a nice kick all kimchi should have. I grew up going to hole in the wall Korean restaurants with my 할머니 and the Dduk Mandu Guk is the closest I get to being back there. Nice proportions fitting of a Korean restaurant, and trust me you will be wanting to have more despite being so full you’re ready to explode. WOULD RECOMMEND!!!“
