“What can I say??? We LOVE English Rose. It’s a comfortable place where we can go have coffee and a treat, or ice cream, or my favorite energy drink. Marie and her family are the best. They have created a wonderful community gathering place for Pleasant Garden and the surrounding Southeast community. We also enjoy Food Truck Fridays. Marie’s creativity and desire to unite the community have brought a wonderful addition to Pleasant Garden. My favs: chocolate brownie and Granny Squares and the gluten-free guava cupcakes“

“Discovered this spot accidentally, but so glad I did! Cutest/coziest inside space with fun vintage furniture and decor, loved the outside space with multiple areas, and their signature coffees are named after famous movie stars.“

“Hats off to Vida Pour Tea! I visited with my daughter during my last trip to NC and brought some tea home with me. It ran out and I needed another "NC tea hug" so I ordered a variety! There was a shipping problem that was not their fault, but they were quick to see that I was taken care of. My "hug" arrived today. Thank you, VPT staff! I'll be seeing you on my next visit out there!! Now...which one do I try first??? 🤔“

“I didn't have any food but this Starbucks is pretty nice to go to. I came here twice and had coffee while in town visiting family and I sat in there a while. This place greets you when you enter (they don't all do that...my kid worked at one) and order came up fast...just regular coffee for me. This place has a ton of indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating so would love to return when the weather is nice and sit outside. You can't tell outside, but you can inside that this place used to be a bank and there is a conference room you can reserve inside for meetings so that's cool. You will need a code for the john but as you order, they will give you the code also.“

“We had an amazing experience at the downtown Greensboro location! It was our first time in, my friends had taken me out to kick off my birthday week. We all ordered crunch cheesecakes off the suggested menu, but they happened to be out of the apple pie flavor I ordered. The owner, Tanya, came out and gave me her number to call and let her know the next time I was coming and she would fix me a free one since they were out! I have never had someone offer to do this and it was the kindest gesture. My friends and I ended up sitting and talking long enough that the apples were finished cooking and Tanya made me a fresh one to take home! It was a wonderful surprise and so greatly appreciated! I would recommend this amazing shop to anyone and everyone! The atmosphere is so welcoming, it feels like you dropped by a family member’s house for a treat. Please go visit them immediately!“

“We absolutely love Kimbees!! We had been buying it for a while and switched my wife’s mom from her Lipton tea to Kimbees. She has loved it ever since and won’t drink anything else. If you get a chance to stop in to the farmers market and meet Kimberly and her mom you won’t regret it. They are the sweetest people you could ever meet. My wife and I talked with them for the longest time. Unfortunately we moved off to TN and can’t just drop in to see them but we order online and they are so quick to ship.
