Whiskey Sowers, LLC Cocktail Bar • $$
113 N 4th St, Mebane

“Great place!Whether you're looking to just have a beer after work to unwind, party like it's 1999 on friday night, or Sit back and enjoy a glass of wine with your girlfriends on a beautiful outdoor patio after shopping downtown on a Saturday, you can do it here,They don't leave the guys out, of course, FOOTBALL takes center stage on Sundays, that is if course until NASCAR laps them to reclaim their spot (ladies, dont forget that patio if all the guys cheering & grunting is too much ?) And they have darts & billiards to keep thatDo you like live music? Like to support local musicians? Well, Whiskey has you covered there too. Saturday nights they host Bands of all genres, ones you will surely be familiar with, Parmalee graced the stages of our little town many times before the rest of the Country knew them. And, of course there is always lots of new up and coming artists as well.Keep a check on their Facebook page, if you are interested in learning how to "Boot, Scoot, & Boogie" ?you will find that they offer free line dancing lessons on Thursday nights when advertised. And for Trivia lovers, well, they do that too! Not sure if they currently events scheduled but, again, keep a check on their page. And I almost forgot, for you competitive types, that like to throw things ?, or carry big sticks they have Darts & Billiards as well ?I've watched this spot evolve throughout the years, under various owners and names, and I've always enjoyed the venue & people, BUT Whiskey Sours really got it right. The decor is interesting enough to keep you occupied for a spell. Black & white signs & photos depicting prohibition line the walls. OH and of the UTMOST importance, their bathrooms are SPOTLESS! The staff is awesome & will make you feel at home. My husband appreciates the fact that they carry something aside from basic domestic beer ?Whiskey sours Provides an exceptional outdoor space. There is plenty of seating, The landscaping & aesthetics are a notch above other bars around, with a landscaping waterfall, plants, really cool signage & old advertising all around, and I recall they have outdoor heaters for the winter as well. The ONLY reason it didn't get 5 stars is because when they have a band It's just always really loud & I hate having to yell into someone's ear. This is Issue ISN'T unique to them, its the building & acoustics. The space retactngular with original interior brick walls & hardwood floors, it's very pleasing to the eye, but for acoustics it just doesn't have. Way to absorb & soften the sound.I would have given it 4.5 if I could have. ?❓️???????“

“I loved this place! We were greeted and served very quickly. I ordered a cucumber and jalapeño margarita, which was great. The chorizo tacos were some of the best I've had! The flavor of the chorizo was bold as I like, and the sour cream on top created a nice balance of flavors. The Chorizo was not too soft, not too crunchy, although I do prefer somewhere in the middle! I was full off of 2 and a half.“

Fitzgerald & Faulkner Cocktail Bar • $$
133 1/2 N Main St, Graham - 7.64 miles

“Deep, diverse, and well-read - Fitzgerald & Faulkner in downtown Graham is a surprising 2nd story speakeasy. This little cocktail bar reaches back into the archives for storied classics and inventive twists on more modern libations. Grab a club chair for a taste adventure. Parking is very easy on the street. The spot is small and the service is relaxed. Bar snacks are not gluten-free or dairy-free. Grab dinner at other spots downtown.“
