“Tazza was chosen as a choice after numerous restaurants didn't have reservations for Valentine's day. The forgotten middle child you could say, the last pick in the draft, Mr. Irrelevant. It is fair to say it's in the first round of the draft now. We walked into the large wooden doors and were greeted with a lively but calm atmosphere. A large stone oven sat behind a bar, and a quiet section with tables off to the side. We were immediately taken to our table and had drinks within a minute. The tables were set beautifully, with silverware displayed around small, real candles. Attention to detail on point. The service was also excellent, we had our food within 10 minutes of ordering, signs of great things behind the scenes. Our waitress was excellent, very kind and made us feel like it was only us in the restaurant. As for the food, we had the meatballs as an appetizer and pizza as the main. Meatballs were great, could've had a little more flavor but the sauce they were in was excellent along with the bread. The pizza was delicious, we did a make your own with mushrooms and olives. The crust was amazing along with the sauce and toppings. The bill came to $34 including tip, and was money very well spent. Would entirely recommend for a semi-formal date night (think, sweaters, khakis).“
“A cute, fancy cocktail bar in downtown Cary! I came here last year, maybe on the weekend, there was no seating available. They suggested sitting outside in the middle of December with no outdoor heaters. So, we went elsewhere. They should invest in some outdoor heaters for more busy days during the Fall and Winter. I finally was able to get a drink here this past week! The drinks are well-thought out and refreshing. My favorite was the Whisky sour. Interestingly, there was some egg whites in this drink(which you cannot taste). Their drinks were strong but not overtly alcoholic tasting! The service was good, but there was only one server. She seemed a bit stretched. I would definitely recommend this place for some post-work drinks!“

The bar inside is small, but makes for a more intimate and cozy experience. There's also a large patio, but it was raining the day that we visited. There's also plenty of parking since it's in a shopping center. When we entered there was only 2 other patrons in the bar and we decided to sit at the bar. We were greeted immediately and handed menus. There was a cocktail menu as well as a food menu from V Pizza. The drinks were delicious and perfect! The bartenders were great at their jobs. For food, we ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza to share and I ordered an Italian Salad with the Balsamic dressing....both were DELICIOUS!!! I will definitely be back! Great food, drinks, and service!“

I’ve also never had anything on their menu that didn’t taste great! Their customer service is always amazing as well. Today I placed a to go order and they forgot to put in crackers (no big deal, easy simple mistake especially on a busy Sunday afternoon). I didn’t check my bag until I got home and noticed and had to go back because their crackers are so great! So I went back to get the crackers and their manager Robin was super sweet and apologetic, she even threw some extra bags of crackers and pimento cheese in with it for the trouble! While their menu is smaller, they execute it all so well. The menu is made with fresh and high quality ingredients! Our server Colleen recommend we try their house flight of vermouths which were great to learn about and taste. Highly recommend this little hidden gem in downtown cary. “I recently heard about The Mill from one of my recruiter friends. So, a couple of girlfriends and I went to check it out. Immediately we were impressed with the ascetic and ambiance. Our waitress, Marissa, was super nice and helpful. She was able to offer suggestions and her descriptions made our mouth water. So, two of us ordered the Wood-fried Pork Chop and my other friend ordered the Mill Burger. We also had the Maple Bourbon Old Fashioned.When our plates arrived, they were very appealing; we couldn’t wait to dig in. The pork chops were paired with blue cheese mac + cheese and rapini (it’s like a broccolini). I wasn’t too sure about the Mac as I’m not a blue cheese fan, but it was really nice… the sauce was subtle and not pungent as one would think. For me, it was actually the best part of the meal. The pork chop, for me left a lot to be desired. While it was a rather large chop, about four fingers, it wasn’t seasoned well and as we got closer to the bone, it was undercooked to raw in some places.A gentleman came over to check on us, this was before we really got into the meal and I shared my thoughts on the chop being under seasoned as well as my misconception on the apple agrodolce which was on top of the chop. How it was explained, I expected a sauce, not applesauce, but something a bit more thick and less liquidy. He took our notes and thanked us.When our waitress came back to check on us, we had made our way through the meal and the unfortunate undercooked meat. We also explained our discontent with what was left. She explained about the cut and the cook-time etc then sent for the manager. He,in turn, came over and did more explaining, while apologizing, and made it right.All in all, I would definitely got back for drinks as they were on point. And I’d definitely get an order of that blue cheese mac.**note that they are working on a new menu with a new chef and the the four finger chop will not be a part of that new menu. “We stopped here for a drink before our comedy show. Nice bartenders. Well stocked bar. Good location with TVs and lots of seating. Loved that the place had arcades, indoor putt putt and bowling. Great spot and the menu also looked really good. Our drinks were tasty although simple and nothing unique about them and we didn’t have anything to complain about.“

We were seated fairly quickly with another family and a server came to our table to get drink and appetizer orders while we looked over the menu. They have your standard hibachi items and I did appreciate them telling you the prices of sharing, adding additional meats, etc. We did order an appetizer and it never came. Which is ok (I think I paid for it as well and was in such a food coma that I just didn't even realize it until we left) There is a lot of food, I had the couples meal with my husband and I could barely eat half of it. They apparently know this because they bring boxes for you to take the leftovers home. The service was good, not too much fanfare as the schtick is pretty much the same at every hibachi place. I will say they might need more humidifiers because the floor is slick with what I assume is oil from all the cooking.“

“I went to G.58 last night to take a friend out for her birthday. It was magnificent. This restaurant is an absolute gem. The food and atmosphere are exceptional. I am a former professional chef. I have spent a lot of time in China and eaten in many excellent restaurants there. Because of that, I generally do not go to Chinese restaurants here- I find they serve an Americanized version of Chinese food that does not do justice to the excellence of the cuisine. G.58 celebrates the beauty and elegance of Chinese cuisine. If you are looking for an exceptional dining experience and/or would like to get to know truly high end Chinese cuisine, this is your place. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Incredible!“
