“visited the restaurant for their Wednesday unlimited dosa offer, and it was a really satisfying experience. The dosas were hot, crispy, and served fresh with good variety. The chutneys and sambar were flavorful and went really well with the dosas.

Also tried the Vijayawada biryani, and it was delicious—spicy, aromatic, and full of flavor. It was definitely one of the highlights of the meal.

The staff was friendly and quick in serving, and the ambiance was comfortable. Overall, it was great value for money. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for their unlimited dosa on Wednesdays!“

“I celebrated my 40th birthday at the Side Door a couple of weeks ago and it was THE BEST. The space was reserved for me and my guests (~35ish people total), food was delicious and catered by V Pizza, staff were very attentive and checked in with me throughout the evening, plus the drinks were wonderful. All my guests kept complementing the venue. Thank you for making this special birthday amazing!“

“If you are planning a special occasion or just want a night out at a wonderful restaurant, I have a bit of advice for you. Go to Chef Palette! This establishment has got it together. The atmosphere is just lovely. We planned our son and future daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner from afar, way far.....Michigan. As stressful as that could have been, Kathie did everything to ease our stress. She calmed this Momma's heart and executed everything to a "T". The appetizer table was not only displayed beautifully, it was YUMMY! The salad, main entrees and dessert did not disappoint. But most of all, the staff was most kind and extremely professional. We cannot thank Kathie and the staff at Chef Palette enough for the wonderful and memorable evening we shared together. GO TO CHEF's PALETTE!“

“Made a reservation here a week ahead for a special occasion and was super excited to try it out. Our reservation was for 8pm and we arrived fifteen minutes early and didn’t get sat until around 8:30-8:45 but Being that I also work in the food industry and it’s Covid times, I didn’t see it as a big deal. I do wish I had snacked before hand though! They did send edamame to our table for the inconvenience once we were finally sat though which was a super nice and unnecessary gesture. Also, the ambience is lovely and super romantic. The best sushi I have ever had. So light and flavorful. We even got some dessert and I have to say the mochi doughnuts were to die for - I wish the chocolate sauce for dipping had been dark chocolate but that’s my personal preference. The only negative thing I have to say is it is a little pricey so it won’t be a regular spot for me personally but definitely a place to check out for special events or date nights.“

“I cannot say enough about the Goat in Durham at Brier Creek! We had a party for my son and new daughter in law Saturday 8/19 and it was everything we wanted and more!! Marianna saw to our every need, gave us extra tables, tablecloths…..whatever we needed. The food, drinks, atmosphere were perfect!!! We were all so happy and had a great time. If you have a social gathering, meeting or any kind of group situation, The Goat is the place to go and ask for Marianna for sure!!! Love this place!!!“

“My wife has been here multiple times but it was my first experience here. My mind was focused on the ribs since that’s the only thing I had ever tasted from the restaurant. We arrived and ordered the buffalo shrimp poppers and crispy chicken and the appetizers were amazing. We both ordered froze’s which were delicious. The main dish we wanted was unavailable but they made the experience worthwhile. I would definitely recommend this place. The service is amazing and we could not have been happier with our meal experience. Special shout out to Freddie, Patrick, Nicky (or Nikki) for helping us during our time there!“

“This place will always have my heart. Five pool tables, friendly staff, cheap drinks.

For the clarity of the uppity Karen-class troglodytes that come in here expecting a five-star gourmet experience in a dive bar setting, I’m here to tell you that this place is for fast service and quick wits; this isn’t your Tuesday book club venue.

If you wanna drink some shitty over-oaked Chardonnay and generally complain about things, go elsewhere. If you want a genuinely good time and people both in front of and behind the bar that make you want to come back weekly (and maybe lose at pool), see you soon.“

“The food and service were excellent. We had a 6:30 reservation and the server was kind enough to tell they were running out of Oyster and a main course dish which I thought was strange since the restaurant was just starting to get busy. We had four people, and all had appetizers and a main course. Three of us ordered their Lamb Chops that were severed almost the way we order them in terms of temperature. Three of us switches a vegetable that went with the Lamb main course. There was a $3.50 substitution charge for each. I ordered the Raw Oysters, which was $18, there were very fresh but only came with a small paper thimble of ketchup not a homemade sauce or fresh horseradish, and no oyster crackers. I asked for horseradish and some crackers, and they charged us $1.50 for extra crackers. Our bill before server tip was $300. You would think they would not nickel and dime us for changing a vegetable or crackers. Not a good policy. By the way this is a very small restaurant that is very noisy.“

“We went as party of 15-17 we had to wait until 8 were present to be seated. Then once seated we weren’t all at the table together which was awkward when there was a room next to us to accommodate everyone. We ordered l
bottomless mimosas and after the fourth pour they weren’t tasting the same. Sorta like just orange juice. I had the fried catfish and grits with fried green tomatoes. Grit had red beans on top of them, didn’t care for that much. Catfish was delicious. Fried green tomatoes were good as well except the bacon jam that was served with it. Not my preference. Overall brunch with the family was great. Food wasn’t over priced. I’ll definitely go back and try other menu items DHD maybe a signature mimosa.“

The daily fish specials are amazing - well balanced flavors and unique ingredients w a lovely presentation. My wife had the steak frites most recently and loved it!! The wait staff is very attentive, Madison was terrific! The entire evening was a pleasure from the starters through dessert. Do not hesitate to give The Mill a try. You will not be disappointed.“
