“I tried the wing and shrimp combo. The food was very good. The food could have been 5 stars but honestly the shrimp was a bit spicy, which My server warned me about, that it made the wings seem under seasoned. I enjoyed the whole meal but next time I'll try the chicken alone to give it a fair shot.My server was super nice. The music was a bit loud for my taste but since I was alone it didn't bother me. I definitely recommend Harold's.“

“I went to the restaurant for the first time and the waiter who served me very well was Gustavo, he is very friendly and attentive. I felt like it was the first time eating Brazilian food. He gave me great recommendations. I really liked his service and whenever I go back I want to be served by him. Thank you very much. It is because of employees like him that the company moves forward.“

“I had a VERY long day. At 10:30 PM I remembered Hickory Tavern's 50% off burger is today/Tuesday. Thankfully, I'm only 2 min away from the restaurant. Only 2 customers remained, and the employees were preparing for tomorrow. The manager and the staff was amazing!
I ordered the hickory burger! Ales was exceptional!!!! My burger 🍔 was delish!!!“

“I don’t know who’s working tonight but they must be in a great mood because this is the first time I’ve ordered fries through doordash where I didn’t feel robbed by the portion they gave me. I’m going to continue supporting regardless of the french fry theft because doordashing Hickory Tavern is my favorite way to treat myself, and a little toxic has never scared me. However, it’s nice to feel like I was given a fair portion for the price for once. A win for big momma.“

“Was a nice grill and bar stop. We dropped in needing a place to eat and it happened to be right near us. The BBQ burger I ordered was good and didn't think it was small at all. The fries were nice and crispy as well! Overall a tasty lunch. The bartender/server was very attentive despite running the bar and tables, impressive.“

“I attended Danceteria on the first Friday. DJ EBONY played the best R&B and house music songs. We danced and sang to songs that are not really played alot in Charlotte. I loved the fact that there was not any trap and / or mumble music that sometimes brings an unfavorable crowd. This was strictly for the real grown and mature crowd. I wish the time slot was longer. The food and service was also good. I like how it's remodeled. The decor and technology is great.
However, I came there on Saturday night after a memorial service with friends and it was a totally different crowd and music. The smell of weed coming in the door from the patio was very strong on the inside. We all thought they were smoking inside ! Me, my in and out of town friends and family did not like that at all. We didn't stay long because of the weed smell. That brought down the quality in my opinion. Something should be done about that. Everyone doesn't want to be subjected to Marijuana smelling up the place !“

“My wife and I enjoy having a meal at Empire Pizza in Mint Hill ! Last night we got our usual on one half pepperoni and pineapple , and on the other ground beef and mushrooms! Yum yum !! We also started off with a salad with thousand island dressing that we shared ! Our meal was delicious, the servers were very attentive to our needs, and the noise level was ok for conversation between ourselves! If you have never tried Empire Pizza ,or if it’s been a while since you have eaten there…..then you owe it to those you love to pack up the car ,and head to Mint Hill for some good times and delicious food!

“I'm not sure why the reviews for this location is bad. The food was excellent, my man and I went on a Tuesday night, it was empty. We did the 2 for $25 we each got 2 meals and an appetizer. There's an upcharge for the streak and shrimp but portions are large, everything was fresh. Our server Savanah was quick and friendly, checked on us multiple times and gave an update with everything.“

“This was a really nice place to visit and have a meal. We were in town for business and wanted to eat somewhere other than a chain restaurant. The food here was very good and hot when it arrived at the table. The service was very good and we felt like we were being taken care of. Everyone working there played a part in making sure we had everything we needed. If you like pub food, this is definitely the place to go!!“

“1/16/3025, 6:30pmish, I came in for a to go order. There was no one present to take my order after waiting. I walked over to the bar and she sent me back to wait on the person who takes the to go orders. She finally came to get my order. I only waited patiently because I like the Spinach Dip and Special (Purchase an Entree, you get a Free Appetizer).
Kid-friendliness: There is a kid's menu but don't sit near the bar. After drinking an alcoholic beverage, some people talk so loud with profanity and you never know what your kids may hear during adult conversations.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking near the door.“

“It was a busy day .. and wait was 30-45 min and the food was 20 min behind .. but none of that matters because the service was excellent. Levar was our server and if there was anything wrong as wrong he fix it even though it wasn’t his fault.. and the manger Michelle was even better.. she made she our food was hot and delicious.. and she even let us know it was made from love.. any time they are at work I’m definitely coming back..“
