“we walked around Morganton looking for a good lunch place. the aroma of the burgers drew us to Uncle Eee's. the place was busy with locals - always a good sign when looking for someplace new. the burgers did not disappoint. we had the Jake (a double party smash burger) it was cooked to perfection and would rival anyone's. the kitchen is out in the open for all to see - the whole staff operated flawlessly. we will be definitely visiting this establishment again and again. just wished we were closer - so we could try their breakfast offerings.”

The portion sizes for there entrées is quite large. So much so, we occasionally, just split one entrée and its still plenty. The service was very good the host, waiter, and manager all engaged with us. Also pay at the table with their q code works everytime and quickly. So if you haven't eaten at a Applebee's in a while give it another try their all time favorites still exist alongside many new offerings and of course adult beverages.”

“Sometimes you find yourself going through the fast food restaurant that you don't want to go to in your own town. When I went through the drive-thru I was greeted by a voice that I could clearly understand and did not sound impatient or imposing. That being said, they accurately took my order and when I pulled up to the window to pay the prescribed amount, I was greeted cheerfully by an age gentleman who appeared to be teaching someone how the job was done. When I advanced to the next window my food order was quite possibly the hottest. It could be without burning my fingers. The chicken biscuit was actually very tasty and smelled great. I ordered a caramel macchiato and unlike other McDonald's, this came to me, pre-mixed and pre-stored and was a delicious experience. Anytime I'm within 30 miles of this place I will stop and give them another chance to make me happy because they did a great job the first time around. Thanks everyone, I know it's a team effort”
