“Stopped for the ice cream fell in love with the cookies. The ice cream is from a NC creamery and I recommend the Lemon Crunch 🍋 But the cookies are a blessing for your taste buds. I got the coconut cookie and my husband raved about the white chocolate macadamia. I wish we had tried this sooner... but it's 10 miles down the beach 😆“

“Get here as early as you can as once the night hits, it's crowded - but it all makes sense as the FrYo is delicious and the atmosphere is on point. Don't forget to leave a donation on the wall, ceiling or anywhere as it's for a great cause. Friendly staff when we attended and very helpful. Very organized layout as well. You pay by the oz / weight. Enjoy!“

“Out of all the great places my husband and I visited, this place was a must go to! We visited this place for their amazing shave ice TWICE. It would have been three times, but their customer lines can be very long. Can you blame them?!? The shave ice, no matter the flavor, captures the juice liquid so well, it melts in your mouth and is not overbearing. You don't even get brainfreeze! The ice is truly shaved. Not chunky or snowballed at all. Two thumbs up! We will visit this place AGAIN and AGAIN next year.“

“Our family discovered Coastal Creamery this vacation and will now be a regular stop every vacation in OBX. We went to Costal Creamery more than we went anywhere else. We tried to go to our normal ice-cream shop just once. The kids were not having it. So we left and went to Costal Creamery. Their ice-cream is the best! Plus the service was excellent.“

“My husband and daughters stopped here after visiting the kite shop downstairs, and they were not disappointed! This is some yummy ice cream and the waffle cones were so good. They’re huge, and the girls got lots of ice cream, which is what they were looking for! Definitely try out the fudge-infused ice cream (I can’t remember the name). It’s SO good. Chunks of homemade fudge in it - yes, please!“

“I’ve been coming to the Outer Banks for 30 years. I remember getting the best burger on the OBX at this restaurant. Apparently they have stopped serving food. That is not the issue. I called up to ask if they no longer serve burgers, and was told “this isn’t McDonald’s”. I don’t appreciate being spoken to that way from a worker of a restaurant I want to spend my money at. If they can’t train their staff to have better customer service, I cannot imagine how poorly they treat customers at the restaurant. Very disappointed.“

“I have been vacationing here in Nags Head for the past 9 years. We LOVE the Outer Banks area. So laid back and relaxing. My husband & I actually own 6 weeks in a villa from Mid February to End of March to escape the Winter snow of upstate NY. One of my MUST VISITS is this Sugar Planet! I love the variety of candies that you can mix by the scoop fulls of my favorites. They also have nostalgic candies and some I’ve never even heard of before. Don’t be fooled by the name 'Sugar Planet'. Clothing, mugs, jewelry, hats, etc. It could almost be your one stop shop for all souvenirs! I’ve been in here 3 times alone in the past two weeks! Michelle was extremely helpful as I was looking for something special to take back for my daughter-in-laws. Together we found the ‘perfect’ items! Thank you Michelle. Today there was a young man training at the checkout, Carlos, was very kind and polite. I do love this Southern Hospitality!“
