“Our party of 3 (2 vegetarians and 1 vegan) absolutely loved our lunches here. The owner was friendly and accommodating and obviously puts time and intention into her recipes. We didn't feel like her veggie options were an afterthought, like they were most other places in the OBX. The basil pesto and sun-dried tomato pesto were stellar. The fresh mozzarella was creamy and delicious. Her smoothies and coffee drinks were delicious as well. This was by far our favorite place to eat on our vacation!“

“The sportsbar portion of Captain George's restaurant. Full menu available, including the seafood buffet. TV'S all around, even in the booths. Hard not to find the game or event you're looking for. It's loud, but that's because folks are eating, drinking, and having a good time. They do have a bar food menu that's pretty good, and always drink specials. Off season it's usually full of locals there to hang out and catch the game.“

“Great AYCE seafood buffet with snow crab clusters, all hot food was hot and delicious, all cold food was cold and yummy. There is a huge separate dessert bar with lots of selections. It was all very impressive, bring your appetite, and feast. Missing one star for food as sometimes a food pan was slow to be replaced, otherwise a great place to eat a special dinner.“
