“We had to stop in a few times during our visit. I first tried the Snickers latte which was good and inspired me to try a hand at making a butterfinger version. The ladies there where really nice and helped explore the idea.

We mixed dark chocolate, peanut, and toffee flavors. This worked out pretty well. Next time I might try 1 part dark chocolate, 2 parts peanut, and 2 parts tofee to get more of the center of a butterfinger taste. Look forward to trying next year!“

“I can say that this coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! Great staff, great owners, great coffee. You feel part of the Bald Head Coffee and Tea House family when you walk in the door. The atmosphere is cozy and nice, certainly my absolute favorite go-to spot as a local (16 miles round trip daily with my Golden Retriever). My dog gets spoiled just as much as I do. A tasty pup cup with a peanut butter/oatmeal cookie that is locally made, topping it. The pup cookies are sold there as well as many wonderful bakery items and sandwiches, locally made sourdough bread, teas and coffees and much more… I enjoy the outdoor patio which is perfect when the weather’s nice and dogs are welcome. Hands down, my favorite!“

“We stopped by on our way to Fort Caswell for coffees and muffins and we were so impressed with the friendliness and service that we stopped again several days later on our way home for lunch. The wraps were delicious, the pretzel was amazing, the tea and coffee made to perfection, even the cookies were heavenly. We will definitely stop again on our next trip.“

This morning I was in a hurry and didn’t realize that I didn’t get the second muffin I ordered, I didn’t worry to call and let them know but within 10 minutes I had a notification that they had refunded me the blueberry muffin I didn’t receive. Most places would not have bothered. Because of this they will continue to have my business! ❤️“

“Cafe Ahora really takes care of their customers. Their location on Hwy 17 was closed this evening but they’d neglected to lock the door and I walked right in, desperate for a shaken espresso. I had spent almost 3 days in the hospital without coffee and really wanted a shaken espresso before I went home. But I hate being “that person”, so I apologized, and tried to leave. But the lovely couple insisted I was not imposing and proceeded to make the best shaken espresso (breve, because that’s my jam!) I’ve ever had. Thanks, guys. For making my entire day. I already love your Midway location, and now, I’ll be sure to frequent your Hwy 17 location, too!“

it also had protein and blonde espresso in it.
I absolutely loved it and khristian was amazing as I expressed I was exhausted had an early morning meeting and this drink hit the spot perfectly for my day. Definitely will be getting this again! Thank you so much to the early morning staff on Tuesday 10-07-2025! Y’all Rock“
