“Super convenient location, especially if you are going east bound on I-40. Friendly folks working here, but kinda disorganized. Restaurant was not busy, yet i waited several minutes for my ice coffee to be prepared. While I was waiting, a drive-thru customer had drove back around to the window to complain about incorrect food order. Hopefully a one off ordeal. I must say, my overall experience was positive. My cold coffee was made correctly, and not prepared in a messy manner. I live on McCafe, it's a fraction cheaper than your typical coffee chain, and just as good. I can't count the times that I've been handed a sticky cup, whip cream or cold foam oozing from the lid, or lid barely attached to the cup. First time stopping at this location, and they did a great job presenting me my drink. I will stop here again!“

“Yall. Simply the best pastries and coffee I’ve had in quite some time! Went to Black Mountain to celebrate my birthday with my daughter & sister. We ordered one of every pastry and had a taste test of 3 items and took home the rest. THEY WERE AMAZING!! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the staff friendly and attentive, and the pastries tasted like they came from a French pastry shop. Will definitely be back soon!“

“We came in from out of town to relax and have a drink. I ordered coffee and my wife ordered a martini. We didn’t know that you weren’t able to have alcohol outside (although someone at another table had a martini as well). We had our dogs with us and we apologized profusely when the bar manager Victoria came outside and mentioned it. As we were gathering our things, we could hear her inside talking about how she’s tired of this “sh*t” , telling patrons at the bar. Initially we ignored it since we were trying to have a relaxing time in a new town. She kept on so I went in and asked if she was talking about us loud enough to where we can hear her outside! She apologized and said there are signs on the tables. First of all, there was one sign on a table that was written on what looked like a piece of paper and you could barely read the words. There was NO sign on our table and she said people take them off. I don’t like people insinuating that I’m doing something I didn’t do. We paid a 30 percent gratuity for the service we received and this is the treatment your customers receive?! Unbelievable! I told her it’s probably not in her best interest to insult and berate customers that are spending their hard earned money in your town.“
