“just visiting AVL but I had to leave a review! everyone working here was so kind and happy to be there. they appeared to be out of blueberry crumble cake but were somehow able to find one more piece for me. our lattes were delicious and my boyfriend enjoyed the absolute heck out of his bacon egg and cheese biscuit even complimenting how the bacon was cooked. the biscuit was warm and our lattes were hot! we will definitely be back next time we’re in town“

“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!“

“Found this cafe on a whim, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Asheville area. I had a lovely conversation with the owner, he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had one of the best chai lattes I’ve had in a long time, as well as a delicious bagel that was perfect. There’s plenty of seating indoors and outside, and the space is well kept up with!“

“I go to Izzy's on Lexington regularly. It's my favorite coffee shop in Asheville. Usually Rand is the barista when I show up and he's great at his job and he's warm and friendly. The coffee is good and the baked goods (especially the fig and olive scone) are delicious. The coffee shop has great art that rotates, local artists are supported. I would recommend Izzy's to anyone and have nothing but good things to say about it.“

“This place is so great that we ate breakfast there every morning that we were in Asheville. On day one I had the Goat of Monte Cristo. They put their homemade raspberry preserve on it and it was mouth watering. I actually asked if I could buy a jar of it and bless their hearts they sold me a jar of the preserve, which is something that they don't normally do. Thanks you so much again. I am enjoying it at home now. Everything we ate was excellent, every day. They are located in the Grove Arcade Building. DON'T MISS IT!!!!“

“Cute mezcal bar in town. If u want some good cocktails with mezcal and tequila the this is the palace. It’s small and very instagram friendly with cozy ambiance . They have a food truck on the property. The bartender are very knowledgeable specially Sophia she will help u in selecting the right mezcals and also they have mezcal flights.“

I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.“

“This is quite possibly t he greatest Starbucks location ever. Everyone here is on point, and really friendly. The management does a great job! It's always so nice and clean, nice outdoor seating area, super fast wifi. Places to plug in EVERYWHERE lol, which is great for me because I always seem to he running around with low batteries on all my devices...yall keep up the amazing job! ?

“The atmosphere and drinks were amazing! However we arrived around 5 o’clock and were told no coffee after 4pm - but they had coffee for cocktails. It was upsetting for our designated driver who was looking forward to enjoying a coffee while we had cocktails. Hoping this rule will change so we can enjoy a responsible night out in the future!“

The staff takes feast pride in everything they do even down the music spinning on the turntable. When you visit, and you cannot go thru Asheville without stopping by, in addition to taking in the pressing and the drinks, make sure to look over the playlist. The team takes into account famous events in music history for each week to build their playlist. I cannot recommend Citizen Vinyl high enough. 6 out of 5 stars.“

The pastries are delicious and their smoothies are wonderful. They do have a kitchen with more substantial food which we will try next time we're in Asheville.
Devin ( Hi from a fellow Blue Texan) is an amazing employee who has a great sense of humor and made our time there so much better.
Fun eatery where you can meet others pretty easily or stay to yourself . Great location so you can get food there and then walk around the downtown area all at the same time.

“Here lately, I bypassed the Dunkin that’s a couple miles from my house and drive all the way to the other side of town to get my coffee and it’s mainly because this lady at the Dunkin on Biltmore Avenue attached to the gas station… She is the best at making my drink! She is actually the only person who makes it absolutely perfect every single time. This morning another gentleman had made my drink and I tried it before I left the store. It wasn’t quite right, so I asked for an extra caramel but mind you I had a frozen drink with whip cream and caramel on top. I knew it would all have to be blended and the whip cream would you not be there anymore and I didn’t wanna cause any extra problems so I told her that she could just add the extra pump blended all together and not worry about putting more caramel on top or anything. But no, she fixed my drink. She fixed it perfect , and gave me my whip cream and caramel topping and did it all with a small on her face. I don’t know her name, but I believe she is a manager there. She’s there every morning but I’m there which is most weekdays. But I just wanted it to be known that she is great at her job and so good that I go out of my way to go get my coffee made by her in the mornings! Every morning she has a smile on her face and it’s just kind hearted joking around People come in and want to stay and chat and hang out with her cause she’s just such a good lady. I wanted it to be known publicly how absolutely great this lady is.“
