“Inside Alley 51, honey buns 2 offer dumplings, and steam buns. I was able to quickly place my order and then I was given a buzzer to use while waiting. I only ended up having t\to wait for around 3-4 minutes. I had the number 10-pork and shrimp dim sum. For $4.50, you get 5 pieces. I found them to have good flavor and they were juicy. The steam buns were teriyaki and bbq. I liked the texture of the bun and the sweetness of the meat. I do wish there was a bit more filling to bun ratio. The food was great and I will definitely come back and try more that they have to offer.“

“One of my favorite sushi restaurants in Charlotte located off East Boulevard in Dilworth. The location is fun, surrounded by retail and within walking distance to other restaurants. This part of Dilworth is being rejuvenated, I assume to capitalize on the upcoming opening, South & Hollis.

“We had an amazing dinner here during Queens Feast. Highly recommend for a date night as the atmosphere is extremely warm and romantic. Great drinks as well, and the food of course was delicious and extremely fresh.“

“We come here almost every week and it never disappoints. The sushi is always fresh and delicious — especially the Salmon Dream, which is absolutely amazing. We also love the house salad with the ginger dressing, and the Mongolian beef is a 10/10 every time. Everything is consistently great, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. The Labubu sushi chef art is adorable. Definitely one of our favorite spots.“

“First tried dining here for a date night, we really loved it so we went back for a family brunch and our little girl absolutely loved it! Our server Andrew was awesome too! From appetizer rangoons, to our yuzu sodas, the entrees (dang! that char siu is the best), and the dessert... customizing our bubble waffles was definitely the highlight!☺“

“I’ve ordered from here a lot of times. I do like most of the food I try. Decent prices on sushi rolls. It usually takes quite a while for pickup, but they do get a lot of takeout orders. And i have had messed up orders before, so make sure to get the receipt and check that it is correct.

“This is a VERY INTERESTING place. This place is family ran. When I say family ran I mean FAMILY RAN. You will see the owners entire family present at this place. Wife, kids, grandma, dog, cat, fish, in-laws, second cousins they all can be presently seen working here. It is really cool that they have decided to run the place like this because it makes you feel like you are stepping into their dining room at their house. The quality and price here are reasonable. “This was the best meal I have had in a while! My banh mi was absolutely delicious—it was tender, crunchy, so flavorful and the bread was the perfect chewy, crispy baguette. I ate it in the parking lot in my car—I wanted a taste before I went back to work and ended up eating the whole thing like a mannerless beast. I’m not sorry, either. I would do it again. “My adult son loves Akahana. We ordered sushi rolls because they are always Bogo. They were good and plenty. The fish in and in the rolls tasted fresh. We lived in Tokyo for a year and have authentic sushi to compare. Oishi desu!!! The spicy, not hot, just flavorful edamame were outstanding. Felt like a well-worn diner, but don't put your chopsticks away on that count! We will go again.“
