“I was looking for a restaurant for my wife and I for our anniversary. I always wanted to eat here when I lived in Plaza but finally remembered to come since it's a special occasion.Our serve was Dylan and he didn't disappoint with service and recommendations. Ambiance was very Christmas-like and personal especially since it was the holiday's, which felt very private and personal.For starters, I had the escargot and my wife had the Apply Begger's Purse. I was a little surprised with the Gorgonzola taste since I was used to copious amounts of traditional garlic with the dish, but it was surprisingly tasty. The purse was also a good mixture of sweet and savory.I tend to be an adventurous eater and he recommended the ostrich since it was the special for the weekend while my wife had also had the special which was halibut. The Ostrich wasn't very gamy at all the was a mixture of beef and duck tase which took me for a pleasant surprise and the Halibut was cooked perfectly and wasn't very dry.For desert we tried their Flourless Molten Lava Trifle and it was he right amount of sweet.Overall, it was an amazing experience will highly recommend for any special occasion or just date night. The service was good. My card got declined because it was locked. The bartender was patient while I figured it out. However, the food which is always my main focus. Let's talk about the food. It was rather disappointing. We opted for a small Salad, Chicken Parm, and Nutella pie. The only thing decent was the pie. It was huge, light and fluffy, and covered in caramel. The chicken Parm was a great size (2 big) breasts heavily breaded and covered in sauce and cheese, completely lacking flavor. The breading did have herbs. Additionally, it was completely greasey. You could squeeze the cutlet and the oil oozed. They definitely needed salt, too. The side of spaghetti was no different. The sauce was the same and lacked flavor. I did add fresh shaved parmesan, so the salt in that should have enhanced the flavor, but it was still lacking . The whole meal was void of flavor but looked esthetically palatable. I asked her opinion and she felt the same. Gave it a 2 out of 10. In fairness, she's Indian so she likes heavy flavor and spice, and I love strong seasoning, so this may not have been our cup of tea. So, take my review with a pinch of salt.“

We were immediately greeted and taken to a table, the restaurant is exceptionally clean, and our server, Angel, was extremely pleasant. Fantastic attention to detail. “We had a party and the earliest delivery time in the online system was not ideal for us. The team worked above and beyond to ensure the pizza was delivered at the time we needed.We had a variety of flavors. All are good and Hawaiian is our favorite! All guests love the pizza!“

“We've been here a bunch and keep coming back. FOOD: All yum! Pay the extra $4 for fresh pasta. Apps: The Prosciutto and Burrata is a yum appetizer. We also like the little dish of beans that come with the complimentary bread. You get one complimentary refill of bread, then they charge you. Entrees: Our favorite dish is the Buttara. Amatriciana is another favorite of mine. Hubs also likes Penne Alla Vodka with Shrimp. My dad likes the Chicken Parmesan (note it doesn't come with pasta, thats another ~$9 for a side of (out of the box) pasta). There is no kids menu, they can sell you a "kids pasta" which is sauce and out of the box noodles. Drinks: Everything is good. Dessert: Save a few bucks by getting Duck Donuts next door or TCBY across the parking lot.“

“Candidly, I was teetering between a 3 and 4 for overall rating but opted for a 4 strictly because of the Buttera dish. I have been here about 5 times and I will say the service has not been consistent. At times the staff seems like they don't want to be there and seem to rush you/not really care about questions, etc - that has been a big turn off. There is a female bartender who is fabulous, however. As for the food, it's been a little inconsistent, as well. I've ordered the Cavatelli a couple of times and it's been better good one time and not so good the other. We also had a larger party and some ordered the same dish but you could tell some were sitting there for a while, likely waiting for the other dishes to be done. Not all looked to be the same freshness when they came out. Some of the dishes so seem a little overpriced for what you get, but the ambience of the restaurant and space is overall really nice! What I will say is - order the Buttera if that strikes you as something you may like. It's not necessarily something I would normally order per se, and I am SO GLAD I DID. It was so good I ordered some for take out a few days later! Add a little red pepper if you like a little bit of spice.“

The Shrimp were plump and the Scallops a good size. The portion was ample. The photo does not do justice to the beauty and enormous size. Sorry it was blurry.Both the Scallops and the Shrimp were very tender and delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection. We had great service. I had a berry cake for dessert which was moist and had Blueberry and Raspberry sauce and full of berries. It was quite good. This is the best Portofinos I have been to in town. My only recommendation for improvement is to bring out a dessert tray, I think some people would have brought dessert home. Excellent place and I will be here again!!“

We've had the same waitress every time, who is very knowledgeable and very helpful!
