“Stopped in yesterday for a jasmine milk tea with boba. I was immediately transported to a boba tea shop in NY. It was not on the menu but the boba team was more than happy to craft one at my request. Yum - It was excellent. I also ordered a summer roll (a/k/a spring roll or a not fried roll). The roll was tasty and fresh. Served with peanut sauce and siracha. I highly recommend stopping by. They’re currently open with a partial menu available. Full menu coming soon.”

“we go there occasionally for dinner but last night we enjoyed a special five course, Irish themed meal. The food was, as always,, outstanding and the wait staff was excellent. We always enjoy sitting and looking at the river while we dine. Chef David is a masterful Chef! Say hello to Jessica, the restaurant manager, who is lovely and welcoming!”

“I love a bento box. Not too many places carry them so when I see the option I have to stop and try it. Ginza Japan is a place I’ve passed many times and never thought to go in. It is a small place, limited seating but there’s enough booths, tables and bar seats they make it work. I went around 3:45 and couldn’t believe how busy it was. Always a good sign. The wait staff is super attentive and helps you as soon as you’re ready to order which I appreciate. The menu is great for sushi and hibachi and the bento boxes come with numerous choices. I went with the shrimp tempura and fried rice. You get 3 gyoza and California rolls, soup and salad. It is alot of food. It arrived in a timely manner and everything was so fresh and well made with quality ingredients and flavor! The shrimp came with tempura mixed veggies which was a nice suprise and as someone who doesn’t need a ton of shrimp having the 2 shrimp tempura was actually the perfect amount with the veggies. Those ordering shrimp tempura and expecting 4 or 5 shrimp tempura only may be disappointed. I ate it all because it was that good. I’m still stuffed 4 hours later writing this review. I wish they served alcohol then it would be truly perfect. I look forward to coming again when the opportunity arises. Oh and all this food came to $15.95. Can’t beat that!”

“Great Chinese food located near Trent Woods in New Bern. They have one small table but we've always ordered our food to go. I recommend calling in your order but if you don't you'll only wait about 10 to 15 minutes.”

“Food was pretty good. Service was marginal. Waitress did not tend to refills. Cook failed to provide the sauces requested even after asking 3 times. He did not cook the chicken for my wifes meal. The vegetables were undercooked. They did bring it from the back a few minutes later and filled the sauces after we finished eating. Never got the hot sauce that I asked for thrice.
It was painfully. Evident cook was new.
Overall I would go back and give them another try.”

“Kelly's cupcakes were amazing and she did a beautiful job recreating an idea for our son's engagement party we had seen online. We live 6 hours away and only had about a weeks notice to plan a surprise party and Kelly was so excited to bake and decorate our cupcakes. She also baked a half dozen gluten free cupcakes we requested as well. We highly recommend Sweet Bees bakery.
Kelly was extremely busy with several orders so it did take a little extra time to wait for her to finish but they were so very delicious and worth the wait. Thank you Kelly for your part in making this exciting day even sweeter.”

“We’re new bern natives and we come to Mario’s often. They are the real deal. My family is from NYC so I feel qualified to say this. My son and I had lunch here today and he said “This is the best pizza of my life.” He literally says this every time we come here. Hot tip: ask for the cordon bleu pizza. It’s incredible.”

“Parking: Limited parking spots, but hands down the BEST Chinese Restaurant in East NC. Recommend parking at the Piggly Wiggly across the street and walking over. But definitely worth walking for.”
