“This catering company was wonderful for a wedding celebration. They brought their own cooking supplies, made a wonderful dinner, they were very hospitable, and cleaned up before they left. “Well we had 4 meals from this place this week. The pizzas and Stromboli were very good. however this evening we had the Italian cold sub without banana peppers. For the amount paid the sandwich meats were very thin and skimpy. on the one sandwich the cheese was missing entirely. full of green tomatoes, lettuce and onions. The roll was past it's freshness date, however it was a better texture for a sub then many rolls we have had. we are from PA so we know a good hoagie/sub. this was not it. so go enjoy the delicious pizzas, skip the subs.”

“My family and I haven’t been to OBX in about 10 years. We stayed in Corolla for a week, and found Driftwood Coffee Co within the first day of arriving. Safe to say that all 10-12 of us went 3-4 times EACH during our week stay ? Coffee is delicious. Very friendly service. Owner is extremely kind, and very talented! She displays her paintings around the shop as well as her jewelry. Come to find out, the shop has only been open since April. I have a feeling they will continue to do very well during the summer months. We will be back!”

“We LOVE this place. This is our 2nd year at the OBX in May and back at this bakery. Every time we walk in, the kids are given a small donut. I am very pregnant and tired and the lady helping me was so good with my kids who weren’t satisfied by anything lol. I tried the Vietnamese iced coffee today and it was to die for!!!! I wish I lived closer I’d give them all my money. Also the black cat on the deck was the perfect touch. It doesn’t get better than that”

“They worked with me to order two cakes for which I drove from Virginia to pickup. The 12 layer Chocolate cake tasted just like my grandmother's; it was moist and tender and that frosting is sublime! I also bought a Coconut-Raspberry 12 layer cake that was the hit at my dinner party! The cake could not have been better, the raspberry wasn't overpowering, but leant a freshness that was unexpected. The coconut frosting was not overly sweet, but tasty. While there, my friend and I each got a sandwich; chicken salad and egg salad, and a scone for lunch which we enjoyed on the ride home. The employees were super helpful and cheerful and all in all, it was a delightful experience and we will be back!”

“This place is out of this world! First‐ our server, Luke, was top notch. He was kind, helpful, and friendly. We ordered the the Chef special which is a sampling of a majority of their their menu. 7ish items. I am from the mountains and not a big seafood fan but we scarfed everything in front of us. All the food was seasoned to perfection. Lastly, the beignets as dessert were delicious! As a vacationer, I would come back to OBX just for this restaurant.”

“First time here. We were visiting in the area and what a find! Off the beaten track and a hidden gem. Staff and server Shelby fantastically friendly, menu knowledgeable and attentive. The reviews we read about their prime rib 100% accurate. Their appetizers and specials really round out the nice menu to include wide array of surf, turf and pasta dishes. Nice waterway view in a casual setting but top notch service and food. Not sure when we will be back in the area but it will be visited for sure if we are.”

“Chill laid back outdoor spot to grab a cold beer. Mostly local Nc beers. A few other options. No food but food options are near by.Large outdoor tables and an outdoor bar. No indoor seating so business is dependent on good weather.Really nice outdoor trees keep it pretty shady. Plenty of fans to keep the air moving.Mon-thur they have music and about the only place open late.”

“Unbelievable! By far the best Italian food and pizza we have ever eaten. Who knew we had to come to the outer banks to experience such a wonderful meal. Portions are enough for two, drinks are top notch and the service was 5 star. Highly recommend sitting outside. We sat on the patio around 7 and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Our waiter was also friendly, attentive and very professional. This will be a regular spot for us in the years to come.”

“Their meats are sensational, service is exceptional and atmosphere is surprisingly cool. I went to order several steaks for the Holidays and wound up buying many extras. There was a family inside sucking down a few of the local brews. Highly recommend this place (and I am very picky).”

“Was craving their cream of asparagus soup & strawberry martini made from purée of local strawberries. Did not disappoint! Also tried beef short rib bolognese over penne. Great hearty flavor. Homemade roasted garlic focaccia bread was also excellent!! Strawberry martini was a bit on the sweet side but still enjoyed it!”

Do not skip out on the fresh lemon on the fish!And the sauce that’s served with is too good. We both agreed if they sold it in a bottle we’d be taking some home.Definitely recommend!”
