“The ladies working this morning made my day!!! I’ve never visited this shop before but I’m currently in town and needed my caffeine fix. The girls talked with me like I was a friend not just a customer. They were so freaking sweet and helped me decide on two coffees based on what my husband and I normally like. They were so patient and kind! We had lots of laughs too! My coffee was so delicious!!! Honestly 10/10 experience! Those ladies made my day!”

“I just wanted to let yall know, I ordered a turkey sub from there last night, I didn't get to eat it till this morning because I work third shift so it was for my breakfast/dinner. I have to say that is one of the best subs I have ever eaten! Whoever made my sandwich is amazing!! I get all the toppings and everything was placed just right!! I really appreciate the person who made this sub!! Thank you all for being a great place to eat!! We always order from you guys when we want pizza but now when I want a sub this is where I will be coming!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!”

“Well I ate here about 20+ years ago and it still and always will be in my Top 10 places to eat period!! When the adorable waitress with her NC accent asked if I wanted slaw on my burger, I was surprised because being from California I'd never heard of that. So me being a food lover, I had to try it and it was delicious 😋 Sadly, I don't know if I'll ever visit there again, but this little place on the side of the road in NC will forever live happily in my mind. Highly, Highly recommend!!

“Just got the $2 double meat Burrito and it was hot and sooooooo good. The line moved fast, the lady taking the order was very pleasant and spoke plain to be understood, order was perfect, the cashier was smiling and looked happy, lot's of drive thru places need to take notes! “I always leave a review for bad experiences but I think this store/ shop /bakery or what ever it is classified as deserves a big KUDO's...My wife and I stop by here about 3-4 times a week for coffee, her Dragon Fruit refresher and the dogs Blue berry munchkins and we always have a delightful conversation with the girls working in the morning. I would mention names but probably not a good idea...I will say the morning manager ROCKS and her crew are awesome. Always a pleasure to yap with them....Hard working people too, Ohhhhh and the guys who prep the wake-up wraps ROCK, always on time, hot and smiling when they bring it to the front.”

“We ordered our food on the kiosk instead of waiting in line. There was a little wait for the food. Staff seemed like they weren’t happy to be there. The food was perfect and the restaurant was clean for the most part. We sat outside and that area was clean and perfectly shaded.”

“I can’t say enough GOOD things about this place. From start to finish our experience was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time. We used to live here and were in visiting from Virginia. We love Indian Food so that was the first thing we googled and found this gem! (I wish we had one in the Roanoke Valley!) Our host pulled the chair out for me (such a gentleman), kept our drinks full, kept our table clean throughout our different courses and was quick to check on us throughout our stay. We know good Indian food and this was it! It would do SO WELL in our area. I will definitely be back!”

A few years ago, at my niece’s wedding, I struck up a conversation with a gentleman who mentioned he had opened a restaurant in Jacksonville, NC. Fast forward to today, I finally made it out to his place—Booby’s Kitchen—and let me tell you, the food wasn’t just good… it was shut-your-mouth-and-do-a-happy-dance good. Everything from the flavor to the portions hit the spot. You could taste the love and pride in every bite. If you’re anywhere near Jacksonville, do yourself a favor and stop by—you’ll thank me later. As for me, I’m officially stuffed and sliding straight into a well-deserved nap.”
