“Have to be honest, when you drive up to The Old Siam restaurant, it looks a bit rough, the outside of the building could use a serious facelift, with that said, the food is legit. The staff were friendly and sat us quickly. That night they did not have a wide drink selection, noting that the soda supplier had not stopped by and that the beer selection was very limited, no worries, we had water. The menu has a large selection of Thai traditional dishes. We went with the Shrimp Tom Kha Goong, the Pork Pad Krapow Gai and the Chicken Pad Krapow Gai. “When we want steak in Jacksonville, we come to LongHorn.
Last night, my partner and I came for dinner. For a Sunday night, it was busy, but we were seated almost immediately. Our server, Liz, was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout our meal. When we told her we both had allergies, she immediately made a note and said "thank you for telling me". Before our food came out, the manager Rick came over to confirm the specifics of my partner's allergy before he allowed anything to come to the table, as there was more risk to his with what we ordered. The porterhouse was perfectly cooked, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were fantastic, and we both had to take to go boxes.

We have always had incredible experiences here, from the wait staff, the food, and management. They go above and beyond for their customers, and we will happily come back.

“The staff at CiCi’s tonight out did themselves. They did a phenomenal job keeping the bar stocked with a good variety of different pizzas and deserts. They were cool, calm and collected despite the fact they had a HUGE birthday group, plus regular walk-in customers and of course they didn’t get their truck today, causing them to run out of Alfredo sauce, napkins among other things. They got the job done, everyone walked out fat and happy!!“

TLDR: Food quality has improved drastically and temperature and the environment is nice compared to the last few years. Give it another shot if you stopped coming around 1-2 years ago. It has changed!

I have been going here with my family for years. It was good up until COVID and then they had a bit of a rough patch where it was hot, the food quality was passable and it was not a pleasant experience. We stopped coming around a year or two ago and have only now decided they were with another try and can I say, there has been much improvement.

The temperature is. Nice in the building now and not hot. The servers are attentive and polite. The food quality has gone up substantially, the food tastes fresh and no longer feels like it has been sitting out all day. Can I just mention their slices of cake? They. Are. Delicious... Before they were not that good and dry, and I honestly would come just for the cake slices now.

I know I talked about the heat, but a few years ago, it smelt like sewage and was muggy. The floors were damp and it felt like your shoes stuck Everytime you stepped. It seems they have foxes their drain issues as the floors are nice and it no longer stinks! They also have an incense mister at the front, which is a nice touch.

Sadly, there is no longer bread and the sodas now come in a can, but to be honest, I am fine with that change as everything else has improved so drastically.

If you stopped coming during their rough times in the past few years, give them another shot and be amazed!“
