“We stopped in after a drive on the dragon and had a wonderful lunch; the atmosphere was ideal and the food was good . The kicker for the first time experience was our server McKenzie, she was “on it”; handled a small issue with a dish we had beyond our request and made our first time visit wonderful. I hope on her next visit to Columbus she finds my uncle :). We will be back because of McKenzie.“
“Step back in time to the good old days when you visit this restaurant. Pretty much, this restaurant probably hasn't changed over the many years its been here. The helpings are plentiful, the menu is big, the prices are great, and service is outstanding. Southern Gals has a great and tasty breakfast offerings. The locals line up for their famous once a week meatloaf. Everything on the menu is delicious and tastes home made. The atmosphere may not be the best for todays standards, but it sure brings back memories of the past with the great offerings of food and the friendly service that makes you feel like family.“

“Went here the first time I got the catfish sandwich, and my husband got the burger and fries. The cat fish had just a little breading with plenty of fish and great flavor. The burger was fresh, and the fries were homemade. This is a small place, with seating inside and outside. It's clean and the food is delicious. The staff is friendly. They also have take outs. A constant flow of people in and out. Will be back.“
“This is a great bar. They have bingo night on Thursday, Karaoke on Friday night, and I believe line dancing on Saturday. They have great chicken wings, burgers, and pizzas. All at a good price. Tina and Debbie are great bartenders and fun to talk to.“

“This place is a hands down 5 star!!! Came for a mini getaway for new years week and while visiting Bryson city we saw a flyer posted on a board promoting steak with all you can eat crab, we were sold on that! This amazing restaurant is located in Fontana village resort in North Carolina. The server Jay was awesome great service, kept the crabs coming once we were low. The ambience is quiet , cute , cozy. We did go at night so we didn't see much of a view. Everyone was nice I would definitely recommend, and we will plan on coming back and possibly even staying at the lodge.“
“What a great random stop! I was out taking advantage of the great weather and getting in a nice motorcycle ride yesterday when I stopped in for some food and hydration. From the moment I walked in the service was spot on and the staff awesomely friendly, my food was fresh & delicious, and even though I had no intentions of dessert it just sounded too good to pass up... and I'm glad I didn't!“
