“As always, you can count on the absolute best culinary cuisine, outstanding service and an enjoyable environment at Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro and tonight was no exception! We took our family there tonight including our three grandchildren and the experience was exceptional! “Very charming place to come and enjoy a beverage with your friends and family. There’s a convenient playground for kids to stay entertained so you and your group are able to chat a bit. There is ample outdoor spaces and quite a diverse menu. I have always encountered friendly staff and other patrons. I absolutely love the complimentary soda machine. It’s a really cool place.“

“We went for their Fall Festival. Unfortunately, one person in our party fell I'll and we had to leave shortly after arriving. However, we have been there before. Lots of vendors for this. Fun food and live entertainment. Except for $10 parking per vehicle, it is free. Can be very hot at times, as it was this time. Wear a hat.“

“We stayed at The Guest House, the staff deices you down the hill to The Barn. Dinner was four courses, with five dishes to choose among for each course. The Beverage Menu is a 290 page PDF on a tablet. I studied it online before dinner, selected a very well-priced Jaboulet. Started with a glass of Champagne. A whiskey with dessert. Lovely.“

“This place is not the same place I visited years ago. I love that we stopped in here to discover a completely new restaurant. Service from Sadie M. started out great with getting our drinks and getting our order. The food came and OMG was it good. More food that we thought we were going to get. I was the only one to finish it all. I ordered a cat fish po'boy. It was made perfect with a butter grilled hoagie with so much stuff I could not close it. The wife ordered a burger that was huge. Mom got a shrimp and okra basket. Everyone was so very pleased. Something happened to our waitress Sadie but when the other waitresses noticed us looking around for her they kicked into gear and picked up the slack. Kudos to the staff for the excellent cover. We all look forward to trying more here.Parking: Limited spots in the front of the building, lots of parking in the back.“
