“My family and I had dinner at the Roberson Family Restaurant located in Seymour, TN a few nights ago. Roberson offers a menu that includes sandwiches and traditional comfort cuisine. For my meal, I decided to get my favorite comfort dish, country fried steak, which is served with some mashed potatos and your choice of two sides. There were many to choose from, but i went with fried okra and mac and cheese with bacon. The steak was served on the bed of mashed potatoes, and it was really hearty and crispy. I thought that the fried okra was really hot and crunchy, and the mac was super creamy with a smoky taste from bacon. The food was filling and priced very well! I would highly recommend going here if you want true Southern comfort food.“

“We had a very spontaneous arrival at Mama's Kountry kitchen today.. Brad, Gina, Janet, Declan, and I really enjoyed our meal. The staff including and especially Hailey our server and Sydney at the register. I can not recommend this place enough in Seymour Tennessee. “I would give up every other restaurant just for a bite of their Caesar salad. If you are not eating here you are missing on a gift that is better than the go cart I got as a child. I wrecked that go cart but I had a lot of fun before. The 5 stars isn’t enough to explain how much this place has nourished me (spiritually as well)“

“This was our 2nd time at BM and it did not disappoint. Our favorite activity was making baskets with Annie, who was a great teacher. We also enjoyed wine & cheese tasting with Cara (so knowledgeable), whiskey tasting with Callum (relayed fascinating stories & made the history interesting), and mixology with Kendal (so down to earth & personalized it for us since it was just the 2 of us). We ate at Three Sisters 3 nights and the Firetower once and the rotating menu items keep you from getting the same thing twice. We tried the Valley pool once, but if you didn't bring your own kids, you'll want to stick to the Lodge pool which has an amazing view and is quieter and with great service by Nate. Shout-outs also to RJ, Zane, Bryson, and Dwayne for making us feel at home. The only negatives were that the pillows are a bit flat and the mattresses are soft so we both had backaches the first couple of mornings, and the charges for the activities end up being more than listed by $50-150 for some reason (taxes or service charges I assume, TBH we didn't ask). Important to know, but you understand when you book here that you're going to spend big bucks, and we found that the service and the mountain experience were worth it.“

“This place was nasty. Food isn't labeled - you have to guess what you're eating. My daughter plated Mac and cheese with a long black coarse hair in it in front of my husband and was so disgusted she didn't even want to eat anything. The "steak" is bathing in what I assume is Montreal Steak Seasoning and some type of juice. My toddler literally ate a breadstick and NOTHING else - not even Jello. I paid for our meal but regret eating here. Sorry just my opinion. Our server was WONDERFUL so I have NOTHING against her.“

“My husband and I went here during our honeymoon and first trip to the Smokies. Their burgers were delicious. Everything was good. Our favorite burger had blackberry jam, goat cheese and candied bacon. It was so good, we went back one more time before we left! Every time we come back to Townsend, we hit up the Snoring Bear.“

“About 3 yrs ago we would go here a couple times a week, and it started to get bad food wasn't up to Shiney standard, service was poor quality, and the waitress were unatintive to our needs. So we didn't go back until a couple of weeks ago and we noticed the difference in food ,service and overall cleanliness,the food was good and hot more to standard. Today 5/17/24 we stopped while in Knoxville and It was a wonderful experience , food was great, service was outstanding, and the waitresses we on top of everything, the salad bar person was in that area the whole time keeping food and salads fixings fresh.. Today was a wonderful experience at Shoneys, I made a point to let the manager know this....GREAT JOB To the manager and staff at Shoneys Rutledge Pike. We were there at around 3/3:30 pm.“

“Last night my pregnant wife and I went to the fireworks and Clinton. It was super hot out and Kennedy grill was the only one that didn’t have a line. I ordered the Arnold wrap and to my surprise it’s the best thing I have eaten. Great food and great staff. Food and customer service are both 10/10 here“

“The store was busy as all get out people where in line out the door and a cute red headed lady was running the place like a general leading the troops to battle she sent one waitress per each flank and I swear those hashbrownd didn't know what hit em they found themselves scattered, smotherd and coverd before they knew what hit em and to add insult to injury that cute red headed waitress/cook chopped pepperd cappd and finally topped like nobody's buisness. I do declare that fine little red headed filly then comensed singing the waffle house song while she washed every dish in the place 3 times all by herself. “We waited about 10minutes for a server . He was a nice young man ,but I don't think he was a regular server. He did not know how to properly serve or have the regular stars or name on his apron. many people came in after us and they were served first which is very disturbing. When we left we saw him mopping the floors.
I'm not sure that is a waitress regular job! I have eaten at Cracker Barrel many times , but was very disappointed this time . I am a rewards member!“

“Passing through visit. It’s cool that they have live music…that plays actual instruments, too few places do anymore. Helpful staff. Kinda slow on a Thursday but I imagine Friday and Saturdays are pretty happening. All the other bars I passed looks like either Country dives or Frat party’s…. Free parking is right next to the building…so avoid the pay lot just next door. It almost got me but a local pointed it out for me.

Jerk Chicken Sandwich - could have been more Jerky, but at least it was cooked well and not dry. … the sweet potato waffle fries were on point.

Parking: There’s parking right next door, so don’t use the QR code at the adjacent lot, park closer to the building…if available. I imagine it fills up pretty quick on a Friday though.“

I noticed the handicap stall in the ladies room was out of service and I thought that would be terrible for someone that actually required the use of that stall. Hopefully they got someone there to fix whatever issue they had.“
