“Local eatery! We found ourselves hungry in downtown Clinton. I had ate here in the early 2000s and it was awesome. As with anything sometimes changes occur…Food and service were ok. Pictured is the hamburger and hamburger steak. A little disappointed with sides included with hamburger steak. They were cold as well as the gravy. Definitely will try again in the future. #eatlocal #supportlocal“
“Beautiful views from inside the windows. The food was average. I had a vegetable plate and there was little seasoning and only meh in taste. Presentation was definitely lacking. Mostly old folks who appear to be regulars were eating. Lunch was $12.00 for three veggies and tea. They do include cornbread with every meal. There is a gift shop within the restaurant that was nice. I would not eat there again.“
“Hubby and I have been missing Waffle House since we've been in states where there wasn't one. I don't know if it's because we have been away. But this was the best meal we've ever had at one. This location was packed. But yet they were ontop of cleaning off tables, friendly attitudes. We will definitely be back before we leave Tennessee.“
“WELL I SURE WONT BELIEVE SOME OF THESE REVIEWS. I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE EVERY WEEK AFTER VISITING THE MONT IN WILLIAMSBURG THIS STORE HAS GREAT CHILI DOGS FRIENDLY STAFF ESPECIALLY DAVID AT DRIVE THROUG AND IN STORE EASY TO GET GAS. FAR FROM THE NEGATIVE ONES THAT ARE WRONG AND NOT ACCURATE“
“we went to harrisons last saturday., and it was so good. i dont understand the negative reviews unless we are just simple people that enjoy simple food. we got the pretzels and beer cheese it was very good but i wish it came with more pretzels and less chips. my fiance got the bbq burger and fries he said it was great. i got the buffalo sandwich and fries and it was perfect! with a side of ranch and their ranch is so good. we will be back for sure. also our waitress was awesome and very attentive when she needed to be“
“Not a bad buffet overall. The beef and short ribs were overcooked, but most everything else was good. The catfish was good and the green beans were seasoned perfectly. The shining star of our visit was our server, Jordan! She was sweet and so attentive, checking on us several times to see if we needed anything. She is an asset to the restaurant!“
“Made a reservation for 3 Friday night. We got right in no problem. It was wonderful. Herb bread and cheese was a very interesting and tasty combo. Tried the filet with the leeks and puree- so amazing. The service was great and attentive. Everything was super clean and asthetically pleasing. It was my first visit after months of wanting to go and it did not disappoint. I will go back with my husband soon!“
“What a Rueben! Their sandwiches, panini, and pizza are always so good! The outdoor patio with live music is fun. We don't drink, and we still love going there for the food and occasional music. It's a fun atmosphere, almost like being on a beach vaca. Music is hit or miss, but the food is always yummy - and you can always sit inside the restaurant as well.“
“This place is wonderful! The food is delicious and they have something for everyone here. We love D&B!Kid-friendliness: They gave my little girl 3 sheets of stickers to keep her busy while eating. She ended up spilling her drink and before I even had a chance to get up one of the staff was at our side moving our food to another table and cleaning the mess up.“
“My son and I went for lunch today for the first time. The food was great with good prices, great service, sweet tea was so good and they kept our cups full without even asking. Servers were very nice. We will for sure go back and recommend to family and friends.“
“Ate there Saturday afternoon. Was greeted at the door and accommodations were made for our party to see the basketball game. The old fashioned I ordered was very good and the food that arrived shortly after was excellent. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Ended the meal with a banana pudding that was different than any I've ever eaten before. That was a good thing. It was excellent. Can't wait to return and see if they can duplicate my experience.“
“It was the first very warm day in Knoxville, so we ate outdoors with friends on their patio. Food & service was excellent ~ their chicken & almond soup was very good, not overly thick. The chicken finger platter with their Parmesan spinach was great, as usual. As nd my friend had the chicken salad with strawberries. The chicken salad had the right amount of mayo: not too dry nor too ‘soupy’ with too much mayoDietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“A clean restaurant. The server was really nice and attentive. The food is good. Try the elk burger and rosemary fries! They have a decent beer selection. Unfortunately, the beer on tap wasn't cold enough. Minus the beer not being cold enough, it was an above average dining experience.“
“Go there just about every morning for breakfast. I usually get 2 fried eggs with bacon and toast. Sometimes biscuits and gravy. Free coffee for about $5. Can't beat the food and serviceParking: Plenty of parking space. Everyone treated with respect. Enjoy talking to other customers“
“Hubby and I are on the way to Atlanta from Cincinnati, OH. If you don’t stop here, you are missing out on a real gem! Some of the best biscuits i’ve ever had at a diner. The atmosphere is so comfy and homey. This place is very affordable and high quality. 10/10, highly recommend.“
“We booked Lulu’s Tea Room for a surprise birthday party for my wife. Deana allowed us in early to decorate the rooms with the party theme. We were successful in surprising her, and the time there could not have been any better. Deana and Stephanie were so attentive to our 20 or so guests. The sandwiches and other finger foods were very fresh and tasty, and her cakes were delicious! I am not a huge sweet eater, but her cakes were SO GOOD!! The tea room is decorated in a number of different themes and has a lot of interesting pieces to look at. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were just perfect for our event. Lulu’s is also a great place to have lunch with a wonderful menu of homemade items, but if you need a very quaint place with outstanding food and service, I would highly recommend giving Lulu’s a try. You will not be disappointed!“
“Fantastic range of food for overseas visitors wanting to try Southern food - I recommend trying lots of different starters; the only problem is having no room for mains after.Excellent service with Asha taking great care of our very large table.“
“Great food for a good price. Staff is always very nice. The cheesesteaks are good and hot for 10 to 20 minutes. There is not seating inside, which is fine, so you have to find a spot to eat. There is a public park right across the street. Bring some extra paper towels and wet hand wipes. Drive to a park or any spot and enjoy.“
“Most good hotels have a restaurant attached. Burchfield's is a restaurant with a hotel attached. Been there several times for Sunday night jazz. This year for St Paddy Day. Special Irish menu and 2 Guinness for $8. Shepard's Pie was outstanding. Luke, our waiter was great as usual. We had him other times. Jazz night is Sunday. Call for a schedule. Can't figure if it is once or twice a month. Near as I can tell the "house band" is a group of local jazz musicians who are happy for visitors to sit in. Talent ranges from "pretty good" to "amazing." Bring your ax if you play. For St Patrick's day the gang was hot. Three sax, a bone, two guitars, trumpet, keyboard, drums, vocals. At least three people sat in on the drums. Great food. Reasonable prices. No cover. Fun to watch jazz talent improvise and play off each other. Don't for get to tip the band too!“
“We've never had a bad meal here! Highly recommend the salmon! I had the cesar salad with wild salmon tonight and it was delicious!! Hubby said his burger was cooked perfectly, and it was tender, juicy and delicious. If you haven't tried 201 Cafe and Wine Bar, please do .... it's a local gem! (nope, no affiliation whatsoever to the establishment)“
“Amended review. While wait staff was excellent our waitress was awesome she is like no bill and we are so sorry. The food left something to be desired. It was disgusting posting a picture of the big nasty hair in my dumplings! I know it wasn't mine as I have Bright red hair. This hair was black, be warned looking at the picture if you have a weak stomach will make you puke! I saw it looked across the table my mom panicked she said," it isn't a hair is it?" She knew by the look on my face that yes in fact it was a big old greasy hair. Laws help me I was so disgusted I could have puked up my toenails. The windows were filthy in fact mom said, "they need to get a local company to clean the windows." She cracks me up. Anywho unless you ask for a side of hair, look at your food thoroughly and the kitchen crew need to clean up their act. It was MCNASTY! It's sad Cracker Barrel used to be my most fave place to eat. I have been so disappointed in them recently. @CrackerBarrel do better!Update: The store manager got in touch with me apologized, and offered two free meals. That was kind! I appreciate it. I am thankful his staff were so kind. So will I go again yes! If you show me kindness I will show you kindness. So for the staff I would give a hundred stars.“
“Nice locally owned deli with fresh Craft Style bread made daily. The deli is conveniently located in Powell. Their whole sandwich size is big enough to feed two people. Southern Kitchen has a nice variety of classic and specialty sandwiches also tasty salads. Their current hours are only during the week...closed Saturday and Sunday. The staff is friendly and helpful with both dine in and take out service.“
“This isn't my normal Waffle House. Walking in no one said or anything. I said hello to one of the girls & got no reply. The women who waited on me was very nice, friendly, refilled my coffee ect. If it wasn't for her my scores would of been lower! Not likely I'll go back to this one!“
“Best buffet anywhere close to Knoxville. Large selection and run more like a cafeteria. Great selection of Asian staples and American home style favorites. Food is refreshed often, stays hot/cold and consistent flavors. This is also the cleanest buffet we've found, with staff constantly wiping down counters and cleaning up spills quickly. Sushi is pretty good and made fresh with many options including sashimi. Habichi is good but could use more vegetable options. Fridays can get busy so the experience suffers a little but overall a great option for all tastes. Service is always good and this remains our families "go to" buffet. Only improvements might be more variety on weekly specials (it's been sweet and sour pork for months) and removing graffiti from the men's bathroom. The women's is fine.“
“I came during Oak Ridge's annual Lavender Festival, and saw that this shop made lavender ice cream. I am not typically adventurous with my palate, but *everyone* was getting that flavor, so how bad could it be? Spoiler: It was AMAZING. It had a subtle berry type of flavor, and was very refreshing. It was also pretty cheap compared to most ice cream shops. The line was long due to the Lavender Festival, but it was well worth the wait. 10/10 I'd come here again.“
“Exceptional waitress. Everything I expected for a breakfast bar. Was refreshed constantly. And what I wanted, Tennessee country ham. Arrived before lunch and my uncle enjoyed the switch to the lunch menu. Biscuits and gravy potatoes yes. Definitely would recommend“
“Just like most eateries, Aubrey's over cooks salmon, which should be slightly pink inside so it is still more tender than it is "done". Other than this I like Aubrey's very much, we eat there often as a family. The service is good as well as the drinks.“
“4th time we've eaten there and it will be our last. After a 5-7 wait, a waitress came over to take our drink order. I ordered a coke and my spouse ordered unsweetened tea. After our drinks were brought,@ least 10 minutes went by before another waitress came by. She apologized for the 1st waitress not coming back to take or food order.I ordered a vegetable plate and my husband ordered a fried shrimp dinner. In the meanwhile, the restaurant was emptying out of diners. We watched people all around us being served and eating it, getting up, paying and leaving and we hadn't even gotten our food.My husband flagged our original waitress down and asked her if we should just pay for our drinks and forget about the food order. She just shrugged her shoulders and walked off.Long story a little shorter, after a 45 minute wait, we finally got our food. It was not good @ all. I wanted to leave within the first 10 minutes, but hubby kept saying, let's just give them a few more minutes.Again, we won't be back.“
“Have eaten here many times when passing through the area and never disappointed. Fast service, good country cooking and unbeatable prices. This trip I had the daily special which was baked ham with two sides (for me, great northern beans and fried apples) and two slices of fried cornbread. All for $8.99! If you like good country cooking and southern hospitality, check out the Golden Girls.“
