“Our food was delicious! but the service was terrible. It has been a very long time since I have not tipped at all. Our server was not only inattentive but rude as well. She checked on us once and we could barely tell her we needed something before she rushed off. I had asked for bread before our meal.We were traveling home from vacation and I was starving! Only to be told to wait until she had time. Very dissatisfied! As I was telling the manager about our experience, she then tried arguing with me. Cracker Barrel WHAT happened to your service standards???“

“Traveling out-of-towners desperate for a meal made well. Enter stage right.....The Local. We were greeted the moment we enter this clean and humble establishment. Service was friendly and quick. I had the Hamburger and my wife enjoyed the Reuben. The staff understood the homework assignment. The burger was a great size and not greasy. The straight fries were hot, crispy, not greasy. The Reuben had a healthy portion of meat, pairing well with the corn nuggets. We were so impressed that we ate there a second time in 2 days. I had delicious chicken bacon sub and the Mrs. had the patty melt. I've never heard her so quiet.....including while she sleeps. She is still speaking about it.“

“Of course the logical place to eat if touring the Museum, but clearly local folks were coming from miles around. We sat with a couple who comes every Wednesday for a bowl of beans. Food was good home cooking, and good people watching as a bonus.“

“My brother(19) and I (18) went here around 6:45 a.m 9/23/24. We were served by a young lady named Bethanne (apologies if I didn’t spell it right). She was such a sweetheart, she was very helpful.
If we’re in the area we will definitely come back, we absolutely loved our experience here“

“The food took a while to come, but it tasted good and was very low priced. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere is very vintage, but also clean and homey. Our favorite part of the morning was sitting next to our fabulous new friends and regular patrons Sharron and Sue!
Dietary restrictions: I had eggs & loaded hash browns minus the gravy and had no issues with my gluten intolerance.“

“WELL I SURE WONT BELIEVE SOME OF THESE REVIEWS. I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE EVERY WEEK AFTER VISITING THE MONT IN WILLIAMSBURG THIS STORE HAS GREAT CHILI DOGS FRIENDLY STAFF ESPECIALLY DAVID AT DRIVE THROUG AND IN STORE EASY TO GET GAS. FAR FROM THE NEGATIVE ONES THAT ARE WRONG AND NOT ACCURATE“
