“Probably one of the better McDonald's. Staff courteous, clean cut. Place pretty clean. Food was... well... for McD's, pretty good. AND, they have a menu thats fairly extensive and DOESNT constantly flash & change. Generally not a fan of Mc'D. Too many other places much better. But I'd come back here occasionally“

“I was in Winston-Salem recently and stumbled upon this coffee shop and love it! It's got a great atmosphere and is backed by a good mission. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, the food was great, the wifi was fast, I even enjoyed their music selection! There are so many things that make this coffee shop unique and feel special. They have a pin board for customers to pin where they're from, they use playing cards for customer orders, they prioritize inclusivity in their hiring process. I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Winston-Salem.“

“My girlfriend and I recently visited Winston Salem for the Thanksgiving weekend. I love cats and have always wanted to visit a cat cafe. When we were researching things to do, we found Crooked Tail on TikTok and made a reservation. When we got there, the staff was super nice and helpful. We had such a great time. The cats are so very well cared for. We do have two honorable mentions- Princess (the epitome of a sassy orange cat) and Sharpie (the sweetest cuddliest black cat). I got an iced latte and it was SO delicious. One of the best iced lattes I’ve had in a while. The barista was so sweet. We will definitely visit when we are back in Winston Salem again!“

“Went here for a work get together. This is a cool little coffee and doughnut shop! The atmosphere inside is cozy and quaint. There is a decent amount of seating outside as well. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be going back!!

“You’ll walk through an alleyway that is decorated with a literary mural on both sides. You’ll find this little gem is snuggled into a nook with two entry ways. One door is to a coffee shop that had the tastiest coffee flight and exceptional customer service. The coffee shop is industrially furnished and decorated with beautiful pieces of art accompanied by relaxed lighting. The second door farther to the left is for the bookstore. This bookstore gives books a million vibes but someone took the time to list bookmarks for each section, explaining the types of books you’re looking at. They work with the community schools, as well. I’m not usually one for a “city” environment but this spot is a treasure!“

“Went to The Remedy for the first time today. Great location. Excellent coffee, AMAZING hibiscus mimosa, and super cool staff. I loved the vibe. It was a great place to sit and get my work done today. I got to meet the owners too Burgess and his wife are real cool people. “I go to this establishment to get coffee and to play chess on my tablet, I'll be honest I have never eaten the food, I also go to this establishment to enjoy the eye candy, that's street talk for looking at the beautiful older females. The place is so clean I believe they can possibly past a USA. Marine Corps inspection since I am a old school ex marine from the early 70s. They need a larger restaurant for inquisitive minds while starting the morning off great and unwinding after the work or play day is coming to end. I just love their efforts to be nice and kind and professional to all guest, who knows made one day the may put on their menu those old school grease brown pepper bag of oat meal cookies that many upon many of boys and girls enjoyed in the early years of 1960s 50s 40s and beyond. “I have to give all my buds at this Starbucks recognition. I frequent this Starbucks almost everyday. The people I interact with mostly are Tara, Rebecca, David & Drew. Everyday it’s such a pleasure to wake up to their smiling faces. They all go above and beyond with their customer service even when slammed they always take the time to greet me and if extra time is allotted they get to know me more and more. THEY ALL ROCK!!“

I was feeling terrible because I went to the doctor and they told me I didn’t look like my profile photo (I’ve gained 40 pounds after having a baby) and let me tell you, this girl just made my day. “Stupendously great gelato! I've been spoiled by a now-closed (COVID) gelato shop in Charleston, SC, as well as one in Raleigh. I did my research, and have visited both locations of Cafe Gelato. “I love this place for real— it is SUCH a shame they have such rowdy customers in the reviews.
I come in with my kids everyday and they always ask for cake pops to which the barista at the counter always greets me and says hi and even knows my kids names.
The Barista Bella is super kind and knows how to keep up a conversation!! She’s super kind and even fought off a rowdy customer for me once… she needs a raise!!
But seriously though, these crusty customers are freaking crazy— they’re complaining on google reviews about how they weren’t greeted when they came in and how Starbucks (a luxury expense) costs $7 for a Frappuccino (not even coffee atp.) some people have 0 brain cells and it shows.
I come here once a month for my business ventures with my husband and every time the drinks are consistent and delicious. I can’t fathom how perfect this place is.
Honestly? Every Starbucks in the high point area is just great!!

Vegetarian options: I love veggies. But if you’re strictly vegetarian you’re unfortunately limited!!
Either way, concepts of thoughts and prayers!

Dietary restrictions: If I had a diet(130 pounds going strong by the way!!)
this place would still be great as the baristas are knowledgeable and know their menu items to a TEA. (Get it? Tea?)

Parking: A lot of parking because they’re in the center of a lot of spaces and it’s great.

Kid-friendliness: The baristas here are super kind to my kids and even gave a free cake pop one time when my son dropped it.

Wheelchair accessibility: If I had a wheelchair I would never want to get up because this place is so nice“
