“Love the ribs and fries! It was beautiful to wait and eat outside at sunset. When traveling here make sure you take the correct route into the st James area. When we traveled here we could not enter certain gates and had to find the main entrance. Kids meal was excellent. The prices were very affordable and very reasonable for the quality and amount of food!”

“We had a catered boil ( Lyn was our server) and it was a wonderful experience for our family vacation. So much fun..well worth the expense! There were 14 of us, we had plenty of delicious food with leftovers! We were going to cook in one night and have a big family dinner and I’m sooo happy we decided to do this instead! “We visit oak island every year and I have never tried Burney’s until today. My son and I picked out multiple items and the woman who helped us asked if we’d ever been there before. When I said no, she gave us a glazed croissant to try for free! It was delicious, I ended up purchasing another w/buttercream icing filling and it was so good. Everything I purchased was great and was gone before the end of the day. Already planning to go back tomorrow before we have to head home :)”

“I can say that this coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! Great staff, great owners, great coffee. You feel part of the Bald Head Coffee and Tea House family when you walk in the door. The atmosphere is cozy and nice, certainly my absolute favorite go-to spot as a local (16 miles round trip daily with my Golden Retriever). My dog gets spoiled just as much as I do. A tasty pup cup with a peanut butter/oatmeal cookie that is locally made, topping it. The pup cookies are sold there as well as many wonderful bakery items and sandwiches, locally made sourdough bread, teas and coffees and much more… I enjoy the outdoor patio which is perfect when the weather’s nice and dogs are welcome. Hands down, my favorite!”

“We made reservations, which is definitely for the best during tourist season and likely all year. The table wasn't quite ready, so we grabbed drinks at the bar and they noted our reservation in order to add to that bill. The bartenders were friendly and working fast. All the food was delicious and our waitress did a wonderful job.”

“I have been a big fan of Mo’s Pizza for years. Today I tried some other menu options and was completely blown away. The pasta and marinara are excellent. The vegetables are well prepared and fresh. They are not heavily sauced but rely on their natural flavor. The roasted potatoes were exceptional. Service was very friendly, prompt and professional. A real plus is being able to get a first rate meal without having to sit in traffic for an hour. Plenty of free parking more bonus points! Highly recommended!”
