“I know what New York pizza is. Worked for famous Rays of NY full time. This is the best pizza in eastern Carolina. Took home extra sauce extra cheese half ham and pineapple half vegetable.

“I ordered a cake and a dozen cupcakes for an anniversary. They required payment up front which made it easy to pick up when they were ready. They do not use any artificial dyes which I appreciate. The design of the cake was simple yet elegant and beautiful. The cake was vanilla and it was wonderful. It was moist and the icing was delicious. Cupcakes were also amazing. A lot of specialty cupcakes are dry but these were delicious. Thanks for making dessert special!“

“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!“

“My husband and I are visiting from out of state and after a day of site seeing decided to grab a burrito. We found the exterior and interior of the restaurant very cute. We ordered two burritos, the plain Jane ground beef and the Bang Bang Shrimp to share which was MORE than enough. We were really happy with the quality, taste and experience. Highly recommend!“

“This place is actually authentic. The papusas are great! They make the tortillas fresh. The chicken in the tacos was super overcooked, but it could have just been a one time thing. It was good food. They have all you can eat tacos on Tuesday. I told the waitress that is what I wanted, then she charged me individually for the tacos when we got the receipt. 🤷🏻‍♀“

“The waitstaff I've had are always pleasant and attentive. Surprisingly neither the tables nor the syrup dispensers have ever been sticky in my experiences. I obnoxiously get at least 5 refills when here, and yet never got any attitude nor waited long for them. When I go (typically on Saturday morning) there's usually a wait but not usually for very long.“

“This is an addition to a previous review from a year or so ago. I now live in the area, and have found that the service and food is just as good as when I was in AB as a visitor. It is winter-time yet the food is still top notch and the service outstanding. My mother loves the Three-C chowder which is chunky, creamy, and chock full of seafood (I had to get in my 3-Cs!). The shrimp dinner has an ample portion of shrimp and the sides are a nice addition. Burgers are cooked as you ask, and tater tots make it an awesome meal. The wait staff in here are incredibly friendly, efficient, and personable. I still highly recommend On the Rocks as the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the service is impecable. These ladies are awesome! For a great place to eat during the winter as well as the busy season, I will continue to go to On the Rocks.“

Or pick your own fresh veggies and choice of meat and the chef will prepare it while you watch or check out the sushi bar. American food offered. You can't go wrong with this meal. “The staff is extremely friendly. the rooms are a bit outdated, but the service that you receive makes it well worth it. the views are unbelievable because you face the ocean and it is wonderful. you also have the balconies with the microwave and a refrigerator and a safe if you need it. so overall the hotel is wonderful. however, the restaurant rising tide the service is awful. their rejection of people just because they're not buying anything to sit on their property is unreal. I recommend you eat elsewhere, stay at the hotel and find you a different restaurant to eat. four corners is a wonderful restaurant for breakfast and lunch. rising tide is awful for breakfast and lunch or dinner and it's extremely expensive“
