“Rebecca was our server and she was fantastic. The prime rib, oysters 3x3, wine and salad were all scrumptious. The only downside was the noise level in our space (we were in room without bar) was so high it hurt our ears. Mind you the 'noise
makers' were having a great time, but really dampened our enjoyment couldn't indicate 4.5 stars on review.”

“I have been a big fan of Mo’s Pizza for years. Today I tried some other menu options and was completely blown away. The pasta and marinara are excellent. The vegetables are well prepared and fresh. They are not heavily sauced but rely on their natural flavor. The roasted potatoes were exceptional. Service was very friendly, prompt and professional. A real plus is being able to get a first rate meal without having to sit in traffic for an hour. Plenty of free parking more bonus points! Highly recommended!”

“Have lived down here for 5 years. This is the first time we came to Oliver's, and we were not disappointed.! The food was amazing. The server jacqueline, really hustled and bustled with a smile on her face and very, very sweet! My husband is a diabetic and also on dialysis, and has to watch his intake on certain things. And they did his French fries without salt, like we asked, and instead of frying the catfish, he baked it . If I could give jacqueline, a higher than 5 stars. I would .”

“I can say that this coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! Great staff, great owners, great coffee. You feel part of the Bald Head Coffee and Tea House family when you walk in the door. The atmosphere is cozy and nice, certainly my absolute favorite go-to spot as a local (16 miles round trip daily with my Golden Retriever). My dog gets spoiled just as much as I do. A tasty pup cup with a peanut butter/oatmeal cookie that is locally made, topping it. The pup cookies are sold there as well as many wonderful bakery items and sandwiches, locally made sourdough bread, teas and coffees and much more… I enjoy the outdoor patio which is perfect when the weather’s nice and dogs are welcome. Hands down, my favorite!”

“Have been going to the Bolivia location the last 2 days since their opening (my kids LOVE the frozen hot chocolate before school)- the staff is SO exceptional and nice. This morning I was in a hurry and didn’t realize that I didn’t get the second muffin I ordered, I didn’t worry to call and let them know but within 10 minutes I had a notification that they had refunded me the blueberry muffin I didn’t receive. Most places would not have bothered. Because of this they will continue to have my business! ❤️”

“We have vacationed at Oak Island for many years - and Streat Side is the only place we visit multiple times during our stay. The food is so fresh, perfectly prepared and seasoned, and the service is even better. The blackened mahi is the best you will ever have. Rhonda is an incredible chef. No good photos of the tacos as they get consumed too quickly! 🌮 🐟”

“It's been a rough few weeks for small business owners in Southport since the storm and local road issues haven't helped. The other day instead of waiting in traffic I stopped in to check on a friend & fellow restaurant owner at Southport Gourmet and Sushi Bar. Like me at The Saucy Southerner their daily business has been greatly affected and I had an idea I offered the owners. I decided to put together a night with friends and let the restaurant show off a little! Let me tell you!! They showed off big time and made us the most amazing meal!! Our group ate until we couldn't eat any more, and then we ate more!! Everything was fresh, great service and the food was delicious!!! From the sensational appetizers to kick things off, to the second course of some delightful fresh sushi boats and then finished it off with some of their favorite items!! All around we all had a wonderful time and we're grateful to be able to support a local small business during these challenging times. The best part was we beat all the traffic issues, had quality time with friends and made the night a little better for everyone involved! Get out there and support local small businesses and slow down a little. Live life and have fun!!”

“Moving to North Carolina I haven’t been able to find any good Mexican food….until I passed by Mama C’s. I saw this tiny building and quickly turned my car around. Not only was it delicious, it was beyond filling. I got an asada burrito that was as big as my head! An asada quesadilla, and a tamale. And I was happy with every last bite! I will absolutely be going back over and over. This will be somewhere I’ll go out of my way for!!”

For the old lady birthdays celebrations The Rusty Hook is my go to. Will be the this Sunday and cannot wait. Never disappointed.”

I was sure I wanted seafood for lunch. as soon as I read the posted (outside) menu I knew this was my choice. ☆☆☆☆☆ so completely happy I got my food from them. The BEST steamed dumplings I've ever had!!! Also I had the sushi shimi combo. ☆very good. so we can't dine in yet but I will say my food was beautifully prepared. the food looked as great as it tasted. “We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Ports of Call Bistro in downtown Southport! From the moment we walked in, Carol greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. Liam, our server, was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu—truly top-notch service. We started with the artichoke hearts appetizer, which was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. For our mains, we enjoyed the seafood pot pie and the steak and mushroom pasta. Both dishes were phenomenal—the seafood pot pie was rich, comforting, and brimming with fresh seafood, while the steak and mushroom pasta was hearty, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. A special touch was when the executive chef personally came to our table to check on our experience and chat with us. That level of care made the evening feel even more special. Between the inviting atmosphere, the exceptional service, and the outstanding food, Ports of Call Bistro has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Southport. Highly recommend!”

“I like this location better than the one in Walmart and near Foodlion. The lady that I have dealt with(sorry don't know her name) has always been friendly and helpful. I often order from the app to get the BOGO deal but I place the order while standing in the store so I can get the sandwiches made the way I like them. I also get each 6 inch section wrapped separately to take to work. They are very accommodating. Also, I do enjoy the new sub choices from Subway. The #4 is my new favorite.”

“First time here. I had a take out, and I ordered the spaghetti. Its very basic, and the sauce tasted like it came out of a bottle, no favor, and the noobles needed salt. I only eat what I could, and threw out the rest in the garbage. As for the restaurant itself, it needs be renovated. Looks like an old pizza hut from the 80's.”
