“We visit oak island every year and I have never tried Burney’s until today. My son and I picked out multiple items and the woman who helped us asked if we’d ever been there before. When I said no, she gave us a glazed croissant to try for free! It was delicious, I ended up purchasing another w/buttercream icing filling and it was so good. Everything I purchased was great and was gone before the end of the day. Already planning to go back tomorrow before we have to head home :)“

“We've been to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk so many times but never stopped in to try the gelato. SO glad I stopped in this time. The young lady working the counter was so friendly, she greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. The store is bright and clean, they have items/souvenirs for sale. The gelato is beautifully displayed and the flavors are clearly marked. They offer gluten-free, dairy-free and sugar-free options. I chose the chocolate oreo for myself and the sugar-free strawberry cream for my husband. I was taking the gelato back to our rental unit, so she offered full-size spoons or tasting-size spoons and napkins, and asked if I needed an insulated bag. The gelato was smooth, creamy and delicious. We will definitely stop back in again on our next trip to CB.“

“Just a walk up hole in the wall. The two servers that were working were very helpful and extremely personable. We had the butter pecan ice cream and the blueberry cheesecake ice cream. Both were delicious. We then could not resist the funnel cake that they drizzled with chocolate and peanut butter sauce and topped with whipped cream! A definite must go!!“
“10/10 recommend! My kids and I went here when leaving the beach! The ice cream is amazing! There are man selections. We also bought rock candy and fudge! The fudge selection is amazing as well!“

“I’ve gotten takeout from here two weeks in a row and have been so pleased. Green Curry Tofu and Red Curry Shrimp were both so hot and fresh - I like that they ask how spicy you want your dish :)“

“honestly the best and cheapest place to get ice cream on the island! the workers are kinda freaky but they’re all good kids. can’t wait to see each and everyone of them blossom into such great people in the future seeing how hard they all work.
i personally wouldnt get milkshakes and a pineapple paradise when i see a long line just cause.
they got a great manager too cuz my kids started crying and she started singing and dancing to cheer them up. a bit freaky but she chill like that!“

“Sand Piper Coffee is the perfect summer stop on Bald Head Island! We tried the peach, strawberry, and wild berry smoothies—and every single one was delicious and refreshing. They also offer iced coffees and ice cream, making it a great little spot for everyone. It’s the ideal place to cool off and relax while waiting for the ferry. We’ll definitely be back!“
