If you're looking for top-notch pizza and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Throwback Pizza! Nestled in the heart of Stallings/Waxhaw, this gem of a pizzeria left me more than satisfied.

During my visit, I tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch, Meat Lovers, and Supreme Pizza, each one better than the last, loaded with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The Everything Wings were a delightful bonus – saucy, savory, and utterly addictive.

Not only was the food incredible, but the hospitality was next level. The owner was extremely nice and even surprised us with complimentary funnel cake bites. A sweet end to a fantastic meal!

The staff and fellow diners exuded kindness and warmth, making the whole experience feel like dining with friends. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Throwback Pizza. It's a perfect taste of community and deliciousness!”

“Outstanding atmosphere. Service was met with a Great conversation of the place. Found it very inviting. But the COFFEE OMG! THESE PEOPLE CAN MAKE A GREAT CUP. I didn't want to leave. Looking around seeing so many different characters of people for a common goal. Relax with a Great cup of Coffee. Highly Recommend This Place. If you are fortunate enough to meet the owner AL-Fliction (from Ink Masters the tattoo show) you will fund he is a very Humble guy who really cares and has a passion for God. “I called a while ago and had them deliver a pizza to my mother in law. she's now going to be 83. not in the best health. Today I ordered her a pizza to be delivered The driver called me and told me, she didn't answer her door. I can't thank him enough. He is definitely a family guy ,great service and they make a great sausage pepperoni stromboli.”

“I have been going to this establishment for years now. I think they offer a really unique selection of items. I personally really enjoy their pupusas, horchata, and breakfast plates with beans and eggs. The servers are polite, but do not expect fast food speeds. They make everything themselves and the wait is worth it in my opinion. Finally, their atmosphere is perfect for a short lunch, its authentic and not gentrified. Overall, this is one of my favorite secret gems of the Matthews area. Cheers.”

“All employees were really nice and professional. 3 stars on service was because we were asked to pull forward to wait which was no biggie, but it was like they forgot us. After awhile a young man came out and said you still haven't got your food? Said no and although he had just got off he went back in with our receipt and came a couple minutes later with our food. Now that's an employee that went above and beyond”

“On Friday 8/23, we came to The Crunkleton on a recommendation for my daughter’s birthday and we were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! Thank you for making my daughter’ s birthday and my first time in Charlotte such a great memory!!!”
