There seems to be this stigma now days that coffee shops and bakeries cannot support one another but that isn’t the case! The owner Katie is such a sweet woman, and works so hard to provide the best of the best! We highly recommend Blue Vnilla time & time again! “Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of Alana. I came here the other day and one of the gentleman working was rude with a smart mouth. I ordered via the app and went inside to pick up the cookies. Was told they were out and I simply asked why did it let me order on the app. Instead of being nice, he just kept saying smart stuff so I asked for a refund bc he told me it would be a hour until they made more. In order to get a refund he had to call the store manager so I stepped off to the side while he called. Came back and said the manager would call me when it’s done so I asked should I wait then. In a snarky tone He was like if you want but it will be 30 minutes bc he is running a business. With that and all the other smart stuff he was saying, I went off bc you’re not about to keep speaking to me any type of way when I’ve been nothing but nice. He finally went to the back and got someone with sense to come speak to me. Alana was very apologetic and got me right. The gentleman should have been apologizing as well. He needs more training on customer service and I can only imagine how many other people he’s smart with. That was my first time coming to this location as I just moved to the area and I won’t be back.“

“This was not a good stop it was a great stop! And to be honest, I looked at the German chocolate cake. It did not look very moist. But it was down to the last slice so I tried it. Boy am I glad I did. It was not good. It was amazing. Their summer sickle cake was outstanding. Their brownie was very different but yet nicely done as well. And the chocolate chip cookies was the start of a show. The staff could not have been nicer kinder people. Definitely a must stop.“

“We had an amazing experience at the downtown Greensboro location! It was our first time in, my friends had taken me out to kick off my birthday week. We all ordered crunch cheesecakes off the suggested menu, but they happened to be out of the apple pie flavor I ordered. The owner, Tanya, came out and gave me her number to call and let her know the next time I was coming and she would fix me a free one since they were out! I have never had someone offer to do this and it was the kindest gesture. My friends and I ended up sitting and talking long enough that the apples were finished cooking and Tanya made me a fresh one to take home! It was a wonderful surprise and so greatly appreciated! I would recommend this amazing shop to anyone and everyone! The atmosphere is so welcoming, it feels like you dropped by a family member’s house for a treat. Please go visit them immediately!“

“Visited with my son after taking him to urgent care. Staff was friendly, all items were in stock (we got one of every weekly item) and everything was good. Lost one star because the screens for ordering were so filthy. There should be a schedule for sanitizing them at least every hour.“

Then I tried a new-to-me cookie at the Eno River Farmers market- the blueberry button- it was perfectly wonderful- not just the flavor- but the texture, just a slight bit of chew and yet completely tender. There’s a cookie (or three) for every palate and everything Cheryl makes is worth every penny!“

“Maxie B's Greensboro is "a cake & sweets bakery serving baked goods by the slice in a cafe setting, plus seasonal selections." I'd go a step further and say its more like heaven il on Earth. From the warm and inviting design, inviting nature and local farmers into your experience, to the impeccable customer service from the knowledgeable staff. I can't say I had one bad thing and we tried it all. I'm so glad I found this gem while moving my girl to college at the illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University #ncat . I'll be leaning on them to love on my girl from afar. They've got the cutest dining area to enjoy your treats right there or you can take them to go in their sustainable packaging that's super cute. Did I mention their rewards program is the gift that keeps on giving? You're rewarded if you provide your own packaging, including providing a cake carrier for your whole cake purchases. Yall know I love a good shop local, environmentally friendly business. I highly recommend Maxie B's. It'll be a staple on my list of places to visit when in Greensboro. “Nothing Bundt Cakes at the Shoppes at Friendly is fabulous. Delicious products and a leader with a big heart. They generously give back to the community they are a part of. “This is the only donut shop in the triad with unpretentious, classic donuts that never go wrong. I never taste bad oil or chemically flavours, only fresh yeasted donuts. I don't like cakey donuts or overly glazed super sweet styles so they have flavors that work well for everyone in my family. Our family fav is always the apple fritter and the classic old fashioned, or even the chocolate glazed. Always a great treat and I will absolutely drive 20 minutes out of my way to get the only donuts worth driving for.“
