Friendly people, just an incredible atmosphere and it was our pleasure to be a part of such an amazing venue! If you haven't been to Weaverville to play golf, have a meal, or sit out on the terrace with a tasty adult beverage you are missing out on a wonderful experience! “Great lunch at Black Bear BBQ, a great bbq place tucked back in the corner of the shopping center near Hamrick’s. We had the pulled pork sandwich, slaw, mac & cheese, sweet potato casserole, everything was very good. Quick service and great bbq!“

“Love it. Walked in this afternoon and was greeted by a very friendly bartender that took awesome care of us. After a couple of samples from a broad selection we settled in on some beers and went next door to order some Q, which was in itself excellent. Anyway, great time and will be back next time I'm in Arden.“

“Everything we got was delicious. Wings, oysters on the half shell and lobster bisque w/ mini lobster grill cheese. Cool vibe atmosphere. Great service. It’s a hidden gem.“

“Strawberry salad was one of the best I have had, fruit, nuts and feta were perfectly balanced with the lettuce and dressing. The baked potato was very good, and the steak was very good also, cooked as ordered.
On the other hand the fried onion appetizer was over salted, as was the grilled corn.
Not a fan of the strawberry short cake, it was ok not great, so I would skip it in the future.
The place was clean and beautifully decorated, staff pleasant and nice.
Vegetarian options are normal steak house, potatoes, salad, and a few different veggie options.“

“Busy place!! We're servers 1st off, so we understand. We ordered steaks, duh. Filet and ribeye. (MR) Came out blue rare. Sent them back and got same steaks, flashed and now rare. We decided to eat them because we were starving... Poor form for a "steakhouse". Everything else was GREAT, including our waitress!! (Who we tipped 20+% Not her fault you have someone who can't cook meat.) Lol. I recommend the filet. Tasty even rare!!“

“On my way home from grad school and found them online. I am a BBQ connoisseur, but found this BBQ to be up there with some of the best. The pork itself along with sides offer a delicious combination! Their sauce (sweet and tangy) was phenomenal! I was extremely satisfied! Great BBQ and service!“
