“We really loved this cool mountain side brewery with a train theme. No food, pets allowed. The beers were good, with a slightly sweet stout and sours that anyone would enjoy. The train theme was evident throughout, even with the flights. We'll definitely back!“

“Chuck was such a good conversationalist with a bright personality and a clear passion for this cute coffee shop! We were passing through town on our way back from camping, got 2 iced lattes, a cinnamon coffee cake muffin, and a blueberry walnut banana bread. They were all beyond delicious, phenomenal, an absolute delight that almost had us turning around to buy the rest of the pastries on the spot. We will be back and ready for more of this great spot!“

“We stopped here during a bachelor trip to do both the tour and tasting for our friend. It was amazing to see all of the detail that goes on behind the scenes to create whiskey/gin! I ended up walking away with a bottle on their Barrel Reserve Genever Inspired Gin as it was such an interesting contrast to the typical Gin spirit. William is the owner and the leader of the tour, he made sure to answer all of our questions (of which there were plenty) and the remaining staff provided us with amazing service and cocktails during our visit. 10/10 would recommend.“

“The food and service were fantastic! However, the reason I will return every time I visit Asheville is not actually food related. The owners fed their employees and their families the entire time they were shut down for Covid. The owner’s husband is involved in many global humanitarian projects. While I was reading the Cantina’s historical wall display, the researcher responsible for the wall came and spent about 20 minutes chatting with me about the area’s history. I was moved by life work of the people associated with the restaurant and will return in support of goodness in the world.“

“Spent an evening here after the distillery was recommended by our bartender at Red Stag. I fell in love with their Appalachian Fernet back in February when I had a taste at the O’Henry in Greensboro but had no idea they were so close to the Bohemian in Biltmore Village. Saw that they were a 10 minute walk away from the hotel so went on an adventure.
Mitchell was an amazing bartender. We felt welcomed from the moment we set foot in the tasting room and enjoyed every second we were there. The Amaro flight was beyond fantastic, and the Toronto was sublime. We’ve let our friends who frequent the area know about Eda Rhyne and would encourage anybody in the Biltmore Village area to stop in and check them out. Vibe check is on point. Couldn’t ask for a better hangout.“

Anna the bartender and Tori our server were both great, for service and selection assist. Great personalities and conversation, and around just when when we needed them.
The brussel sprout app was super.

Since we were traveling and had no clue this was coming for us we were not prepared. After a couple of samples from a broad selection we settled in on some beers and went next door to order some Q, which was in itself excellent. I’m from Charleston, SC, it’s a foodie town… pizza is not our strong suit(with some exceptions). We newly arrived in Asheville and our minds were literally blown away by this restaurant!!! “Thought we'd never have Root Down after the Salvage Station, so it is an absolute honor to have these folks in our neighborhood. They can cook some mean ass food y'all you can definitely feel NOLA in their hearts. We got just about one of everything and have never been disappointed. This place teeters on spicy (I can't tell, but my partner can) so proceed with caution if you have the same spice intolerance.
Terra Nova is a huge place with generous seating and views of historic Beacon Village. Multiple seating places and different areas. Both indoor and outdoor options. The bar is always attended by very kind bartenders who have the patience of saints. They occasionally have live music or performances that are equally delightful.
