“We have been to Topsail Beach many times, but this trip was our first to the Breezeway Restaurant. We came on a Thursday evening; it was very busy. The food was wonderful! We enjoyed it so much we came back again the next night, our last evening on Topsail. We had shrimp, flounder, deviled crab, oysters, and the world's best hush puppies and slaw. This is now our favorite seafood restaurant anywhere. The view of the sunset was spectacular. The service was top notch, with a shout-out to Caitlin and Lucy. We hope to return again next year.“

“Great food, even better people and atmosphere. As locals, we are weekly visitors. (well maybe more like three times a week on occasion.) We have NEVER not been satisfied. A special Thank You to Tanner our server, he was awesome and did such a wonderful job and made sure everything was spot on for us to have a relaxing and enjoyable dinner. My heart went out to you and I felt bad after the table next to us ran you and spent $200 if not more and left you such a crap tip, that was so wrong. “Tried this new breakfast spot and had a great experience overall. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was really good, I tried their classic benny which came out delicious. The home fries were well seasoned but they could’ve been crispier. Definitely worth checking out, and I’d happily come back again!“

And my wife had the tomato bisque soup with grilled cheese again a very good choice

We finished with the German chocolate cake. It was out of sight.

“We went for the first time during Christmas 2025 while it was decorated. It looked like a small Angus Barn. Every inch was decorated for Christmas. Wonderful atmosphere to sit in and enjoy the holidays. The food was excellent and the service was great! Highly recommend!“

“We dined at Shuckin’ Shack with a group of 10, and a puppy in tow. The waiter was absolutely phenomenal and the attentiveness to the puppy by bringing out a water bowl was top tier. This gave my family a last hoorah with Grandma, Uncle and Aunt! Phenomenal food to fit everyone’s appetite, excellent service and efficiency! Outdoor dining was completely covered and peaceful!“

“Down in NC visiting family and they recommended Jebbys. Ordered the Old bay wings to start and they were as good as any spot in Maryland. For dinner, I got the gumbo and it was phenomenal. My wife loved the pot pie. The southern chicken and the pork chop were both also awesome. Love the family style vibe. Homemade dessert to finish - can't beat it. If I lived here, this would be my go to. Best meal I've had in NC.“

“Sears Landing – A Family Favorite!

Our family visited Sears Landing and had an amazing experience from start to finish! The West Indies seafood omelet did NOT disappoint—it was packed with a generous amount of seafood and seasoned perfectly. Every bite was flavorful, and it quickly became a table favorite.

We also tried the combination plate, and everything was cooked to perfection. My son gave it a solid 10 out of 10, which says a lot! He enjoyed his breakfast of sausage, two eggs, hashbrowns, and toast, and my mother-in-love ordered the same with bacon. Both plates were delicious and well-portioned.

The view was beautiful, and the service was amazing, which made the experience even better. While we ate, my fisherman husband was out on the pier, and we brought him back a bacon sandwich—he was very pleased!

“I get the breakfast sandwich, eggs over easy, cheese and a sausage patty. I’ve ordered this before at other restaurants and NYCD is the only place that gets over easy right. Gooey and runny, just the way a perfect breakfast should be! Of all the places on and off island, this is the one to go to. Highly recommended! 💕“

“Great ice cream and atmosphere. Had the Lion King on for the kiddos. Only note I have is that there is no long list of ice cream flavors close to where we walked in. Had to walk through the line and squeeze between people to see what flavors they had. Not a huge issue at all though. Overall, great place!“
