Burger Restaurants near Walkertown

“Mickey D's are basically the same anywhere to go, right? Hmmm. Not really. No. The food we order at our MD's in Walkertown is sometimes, well, just bad. I had a filet-o-fish two days ago that I swear they must have reheated that square piece of fish at least 3 times. The corners were hard as a rock! My fries were a cold, soggy mess. We only live 5 minutes from the store so my takeout order should not have been that cold, that fast. My husband's burger was not made like it was ordered on the app. I ordered four of the strawberry/cream cheese pies. We got two. They had the top of the bag folded down and stapled shut! That was a new experience there and I hope it's not a sign of new times. We're going to the new Cookout for our next burger meals!“

“Hi I understand this location is getting some bad reviews by the look of it. I just popped in to say my experience was perfect. I stopped in for a burger and the lady at the counter, Vicky, actually remembered the way I like to burger made (from the last time I stopped by weeks ago). The customer service was happy, fun to interact with, and the burger was great! Thank you to Vicky and the crew for a great visit!“

“The rotisserie chicken was moist and seasoned well with a tasty skin on it. It came with a wonderful green dipping sauce.

I was surprised at how good the vegetable sides were. They were perfectly cooked brassicas and carrots which were seasoned well with a mild teriyaki sauce.

The food was served on handy trays with built in sauce holders.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Several staff exceeded expectations and they clearly care about their customers and their food.

I hope to come back and enjoy the outdoor seating section one day.“

“We ROTN REVIEWS visited Cin Cin Burger Bar today. I ordered the quinoa salad and we all shared the pretzel bites appetizer—everything was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was amazing, attentive, and so kind. The restaurant itself is spotless, and the atmosphere is on point—the music is PERFECT. “I stopped by Mikes Grill for a quick bite to eat and it did not disappoint! I’m not vegan but didn’t miss a thing. I had the Philly cheese and it was so flavorful and cheesey. They had me at “ comfort food” on the window. Friendly staff and nice vibe!“

“I enjoyed my experience a couple weeks ago. Someone bought me my lunch so, I could be wrong, but I think there was a lunch special- single patty, side of fries and a drink. Not sure the cost but given the rising prices of EVERYTHING, I'm pretty sure it was a good deal.

I got the Ladykiller. The taste was great- not too salty, yummy pickles (home made?) and the fries were actually seasoned! The staff was friendly and I am pleased they are LGBTQ-friendly.“

“My mom and I went to purchase a MacBook and we went through Kernersville and had never ate at a 5 Guys before and decided to try it out. We both got patty melts and they were DELICIOUS. But the real reason we would go back was the service. There was a black gentleman there and a white lady that made our day with excellent service and were so kind. They need a raise, we’d go back just to see them. Thanks for the recommendation on what we should order, you nailed it and we inhaled it!“

“This is such a hidden gem in Walnut Cove and deserves to be more known! Food was flavorful and fresh- by FAR the best “American style” eatery in the area. Worth the drive over even if you’re up around Hanging Rock, looking for a meal. We had a delicious jalapeño burger and shrimp po boy and thoroughly enjoyed both. Also great drink specials! The service was also top tier with our new friend Atiya, she was awesome and truly cared about her customers! Best service we’ve had in awhile. On top of that they had karaoke going on! I was too shy to sing but maybe next time. ☺️ 100% would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a tasty meal. We live in the area and generally go to Winston Salem to eat out but it’s awesome to know we have this place close to home! It also just had a super good vibe and cool decor, “surf shack” style. “What happened to the flounder? We have ordered twice previously & were pleased with the flounder/shrimp platter. Something has happened. The size of a piece of flounder was 2 oz & looked like it had starved to death. Very disappointed.“

“Went to the Culver's on Fairlawn. There was a young man taking out orders, taking orders to customers tables. He wad a ball of energy. Had a great personality to boot. The food was great, the service was great. All around awesome experience.“

“Grill Cheese sandwich- $4.50 White sandwich bag- .45 cents. Tax- .35 cents = One grill cheese sandwich to go- $5.30. Or make 10 at home for $4.50 and save the bag and tax. America is in serious trouble. Todd's s not the problem. We are for allowing this to happen. I will never allow anyone to sell me a white sandwich bag for 45 cents again. “Great hot dogs and fries. Awesome, Cheesesteak. The guy at the register was very friendly and helpful. The dining area and bathrooms were very clean. There's a lot on the menu to try still: pizzas, wings, burgers, tortas, and tacos. Prices are very reasonable.“

“I know this sounds odd but I want to encourage you to try out the Burger King in Kernersville (by Chick-fil-A and Walmart). They rarely have backed up lines and the food is always fresh. When they first opened I think we all shared a more negative judgment of the location but it has definitely changed. I now frequent there for breakfast and lunch and I'm always impressed with their attitudes, service and speed. Maybe hop out of that other long line and give them a try.“

“Traveling can be tough when you don’t eat the SAD, had this place on my list and finally got a chance to stop in and explore the Clean Eatz! I was really happy with large selection of ready to cook meals from breakfast to dinner along with snacks and deserts… ingredients clearly listed and helpful spot lights on dairy & wheat. The store is very clean and well organized, you can get a smoothie or prepared food outside of the cases. The staff was friendly and really took time to answer our questions. They have several different plans to help keep you in track and a weekly menu so you can let them take care of breakfast / lunch or dinner for the week! These meals really save me when we travel, they are a perfect size so you don’t over eat and truly affordable & healthy compared to dinner out. I’m a fan“

“Cookout is always good. They listen to your order they get it right 99.9! Milkshakes are great, any flavor. Mix and match the wide variety of flavors and fresh fruits (peach-pineapple & some berries my fav!) as well as candy bar flavors, cookies.“

“I have to say, the customer service here was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly, beautiful young lady named Danaisa with a warm smile. She had such a great sense of humor—when I asked her to say "hi" again, she laughed and did it without hesitation! I mentioned that I had been to two other restaurants that day, and neither offered service like this. The moral of the story? If you don’t get treated the way I did by Danaisa, walk right out!

“Always check your order at the window. Cook out forgets to put on your request. This time they forgot the onions on my burger. Usually it's the tomatoes or the pickles!

“We stopped at Whataburger for the first time. The burgers were really good. The toppings were fresh and the meat tasted great. The fries were very good with just enough salt. I tried the apple pie because it reminded me of fast-food pies from when I was a kid - and it did not disappoint. Lastly, the staff were friendly and the service was fast. They appear to have hit their stride. We’ll be returning!“

“Had the worse experience last night. Horrible service. The place literally had 2 tables of people when we got there. took 40 min to get drinks and order. 30 min later after ordering was told they were out of several items. when the food came it was wrong and half the food wasn't even made. so 2 of us didn't even get a meal and all they said was they can give a 25% discount. Never had service once we got our food and the food was either burnt or cold. it sat in the window to be served at least 10 min. they definitely need new management and a trained staff!! I was highly disappointed on what was supposed to be a birthday dinner. I do not recommend at all!“
