“Mickey D's are basically the same anywhere to go, right? Hmmm. Not really. No. The food we order at our MD's in Walkertown is sometimes, well, just bad. I had a filet-o-fish two days ago that I swear they must have reheated that square piece of fish at least 3 times. The corners were hard as a rock! My fries were a cold, soggy mess. We only live 5 minutes from the store so my takeout order should not have been that cold, that fast. My husband's burger was not made like it was ordered on the app. I ordered four of the strawberry/cream cheese pies. We got two. They had the top of the bag folded down and stapled shut! That was a new experience there and I hope it's not a sign of new times. We're going to the new Cookout for our next burger meals!“

“My girlfriend and I recently visited Winston Salem for the Thanksgiving weekend. I love cats and have always wanted to visit a cat cafe. When we were researching things to do, we found Crooked Tail on TikTok and made a reservation. When we got there, the staff was super nice and helpful. We had such a great time. The cats are so very well cared for. We do have two honorable mentions- Princess (the epitome of a sassy orange cat) and Sharpie (the sweetest cuddliest black cat). I got an iced latte and it was SO delicious. One of the best iced lattes I’ve had in a while. The barista was so sweet. We will definitely visit when we are back in Winston Salem again!“

“We stopped in for the Talk bar incidentally as visitors from out of state. Our bartender Matt knocked it out of the park! He was so pleasant, social, and accommodating. He listened to our drink desires and created cocktails for us that were better than anything we could have ever dreamed of. We come from a town with a few swanky cocktail bars that “customize” drinks. They don’t hold a candle to the creations Matt has up his sleeve. PLEASE stop here and visit this man and this bar!“

“You’ll walk through an alleyway that is decorated with a literary mural on both sides. You’ll find this little gem is snuggled into a nook with two entry ways. One door is to a coffee shop that had the tastiest coffee flight and exceptional customer service. The coffee shop is industrially furnished and decorated with beautiful pieces of art accompanied by relaxed lighting. The second door farther to the left is for the bookstore. This bookstore gives books a million vibes but someone took the time to list bookmarks for each section, explaining the types of books you’re looking at. They work with the community schools, as well. I’m not usually one for a “city” environment but this spot is a treasure!“

“They were out of Nitro cold brew but Kelsey the one taking my order suggested that I get the regular vanilla sweet cream cold brew with cold foam to replicate the nitro, and even as a former Starbucks employee I didn’t even think to do that and it turned out to be even better! Love that they try to accommodate here.“

“a few years ago, my mom was having surgery at the hospital and i was there with her for a few days. now, keep in mind, i was around 12 at this time. i noticed there was a starbucks in the hospital and my dad bought me some iced coffee (this was in 2017 so i don’t remember what drink) because it was early. well, my sister came along later and recommended a drink to get. so i got another drink a couple minutes later. then my mom gives me money and i get yet another drink. it was like 10 in the morning and the worker didn’t question why this twelve year old was downing three venti coffees at that time. i don’t remember his name or much else about it, but i reminisce about those times every time i pass it.“

The place is so clean I believe they can possibly past a USA. Marine Corps inspection since I am a old school ex marine from the early 70s. They need a larger restaurant for inquisitive minds while starting the morning off great and unwinding after the work or play day is coming to end. I just love their efforts to be nice and kind and professional to all guest, who knows made one day the may put on their menu those old school grease brown pepper bag of oat meal cookies that many upon many of boys and girls enjoyed in the early years of 1960s 50s 40s and beyond. “Located just off the elevators from the Publix parking garage, this Starbucks is convenient to grab a hot or cold beverage before heading in to Publix to shop. The barista here made great recommendations and she made the caffeine-pick-me-up just perfect!“

“Great day in the morning! Delicious 🤤 My husband picked up a few items this morning for us to enjoy outdoors nearby with our son on this first day of summer. I’m dieting and a bit of a picky eater. Lort! I gobbled alll that stuff down. I did not share my half of my Asiago cheese bagel with my 15 month old. In fact I hid from him. I did share the delectable croissant with him which he gobbled up. The danish was there and then gone in an instant. Yuuummm. Cannot wait to visit again soon!“

“Brittany was very nice at the register today and had a smile and personality! My God how refreshing in a day where that is almost no longer existent!!!! Ordered stuff for breakfast and lattes. They were out of what I ordered and they all handled it with extreme kindness and humor! The team was joking, laughing and working together! Again, wow! Rare these days! We were there July 18th around 11:30am for management to know who was there to give them compliments and maybe a raise. The one time I wanted to tip at a Starbucks it wasn’t an option here. “I love this place for real— it is SUCH a shame they have such rowdy customers in the reviews.
I come in with my kids everyday and they always ask for cake pops to which the barista at the counter always greets me and says hi and even knows my kids names.
The Barista Bella is super kind and knows how to keep up a conversation!! She’s super kind and even fought off a rowdy customer for me once… she needs a raise!!
But seriously though, these crusty customers are freaking crazy— they’re complaining on google reviews about how they weren’t greeted when they came in and how Starbucks (a luxury expense) costs $7 for a Frappuccino (not even coffee atp.) some people have 0 brain cells and it shows.
I come here once a month for my business ventures with my husband and every time the drinks are consistent and delicious. I can’t fathom how perfect this place is.
Honestly? Every Starbucks in the high point area is just great!!

Vegetarian options: I love veggies. But if you’re strictly vegetarian you’re unfortunately limited!!
Either way, concepts of thoughts and prayers!

Dietary restrictions: If I had a diet(130 pounds going strong by the way!!)
this place would still be great as the baristas are knowledgeable and know their menu items to a TEA. (Get it? Tea?)

Parking: A lot of parking because they’re in the center of a lot of spaces and it’s great.

Kid-friendliness: The baristas here are super kind to my kids and even gave a free cake pop one time when my son dropped it.

Wheelchair accessibility: If I had a wheelchair I would never want to get up because this place is so nice“
