“I have now eaten at New Sichuan three times. My opinion is that New Sichuan is the best authentic and Americanized Chinese food in Winston-Salem and I have tried lots. The place is spotless with a near perfect sanitation record. The service is quick and friendly. The food is served quickly. On our most recent visit my son had Beef with Diced Hot pepper which he judged to be very good. If you like Americanized Chinese food I can highly recommend their General Tso's Chicken. It is a huge portion and it is likely the best that I have ever eaten. The egg rolls are served piping hot. General's Chicken, an egg roll, water and tip comes to just over $20.00. I highly recommend New Sichuan. The rice even sticks together so you can eat it with a chopstick.“
“You should help your poor barista in the mornings by scheduling more than one person during the rush up front. As a former service worker it’s agonizing to watch them drowning in orders knowing it could have been prevented. You have a line put the door and 10 people waiting for drinks- only one person who is tasked with running drink register and making drinks. Do better for your employees. Barista was excellent. Peace“

“My husband and I love Indian food. We are new to town and was told Nawab was the place to go! It exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back. The staff was the friendliest we have ever seen, the food had beautiful presentation and was delicious. We will be back again and again!“

“After having some difficulty with my usual bowling alley. I found myself in Winston randomly with a two hour window between obligations. I scrolled into northside lanes and met Caleb at the front desk. Who gave me one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at a bowling alley. From a warm greeting to exceptional knowledge, I ended up buying a bowling ball here instead of my usual shop. 10 out of 10 recommend this bowling alley for both casual and professional play. Thank you, Caleb, for everything!“

“I have only been here once, but it was a very welcoming and tasty coffee shop and bakery. Unfortunately I didn't get any of their baked goods this time, but I tried and loved their Coconut cooler! Service was also extremely quick. Another thing to note is that the food and drinks here are very well prices. I got a 20 OZ coffee for 4 bucks and a lot of there desserts were 3-7.“

“Kimono’s is my favorite Japanese place around. My go-to is spicy teriyaki steak with udon noodles and zucchini. It really doesn’t get much better.
The staff is always a treat as well, they are always very welcoming!
If you’re in the area and like Japanese food. I recommend giving Kimono’s a shot.“

“Hot dog City is a great place to grab lunch. The food is made fresh and to order. As a result of the food being made to order, plan your time accordingly as it could take 30 to 40 minutes to get your order. I would recommend calling it in before you drove there. Or better yet have it delivered“

“I stopped into Winkler Bakery—the historic, delicious-smelling gem of Old Salem—to pick up some chocolate chip cookies for Santa. You know… being a responsible adult, spreading holiday cheer, doing my duty as a contributing member of Christmas society.
But the moment I walked in, that warm bakery aroma hit me like a sugary freight train. I swear one of the cookies whispered,
“Come closer… Santa doesn’t need all of us…”
These chocolate chip cookies aren’t just cookies.
They’re fresh-baked hypnotic discs of joy.
They’re so good Santa might skip the rest of his route, sit on the roof, and eat them all while updating his résumé because nothing he delivers will taste this good.
I bought a bag for Santa—and somehow a second “mysterious” bag appeared in my hands for quality control purposes.
I took one bite and suddenly understood why elves sing all the time.
These cookies are soft, warm, chocolate-loaded miracles capable of stopping arguments, healing trauma, and possibly reviving the extinct dodo bird.
If Santa doesn’t show up at your house this year, it’s probably because he’s still parked at Winkler Bakery going back for seconds.

“We just wanted a quick bite thats not over priced and the standard drive thru. This was actually my first time having Panera. I was pleasantly impressed. We bought off of the new $4.99 choices. We thought most of it was great. Especially the turkey sandwich and Italian sub. Very yummy. The French onion soup was ok. A perfect little bite that wasn't loaded up with a bunch of oil. Fresh, and delicious.“
