“We have been to Ming Fu Waxhaw several times and have enjoyed the food. The sushi is presented artfully and the fish is always fresh. The Chinese entrees are always excellent in both taste and presentation. The spice level of any dish can be customized and I always enjoy extra spicy. The service has always been excellent whether seated in the restaurant or at the sushi bar. The only negative is that the restaurant closes at 0830 pm which is early compared to other restaurants in the area.“

“I love eating at Viva Chicken but disappointed at the portions are small compared to Viva Chicken in Charlotte uptown near Novant. I got the Viva Chicken Salad so I had to pay $3.90 extra for the amount of chicken I got in the picture there in addition to the salad. I also got the Naked Peruvian wrap with added $3.90 chicken which was ok but better than the salad. I spent almost $30 for two items. I splurge at times for special occasions but for the amount of chicken I got, I could have gotten a whole rotisserie chicken at Sam's club for a lot more to share with my family of 5.“

“This was our second visit to Juniper Grill for lunch and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Beef Brisket Sandwich and Fish Tacos, both of which were perfect. My Prickly Pear Margarita was delicious and strong.

Most importantly, our server, Madeline, was impeccable. She was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our conversation with friends. The noise level was also just right for a relaxed dining experience.

“First visit. Food was excellent and service was on top of things. Would love to give this 5 stars and come back often.

Only complaint was the acoustics. The crowd really grew after we got there at 6, and the noise grew steadily. It was mostly professionals and couples. I found myself talking louder and louder to be heard - even asking my friend to repeat themselves. The voices carried and echoed, so just general conversation was hard.

For reference, we were seated in the front corner, to the far left after entering from the door. Our whole side seemed louder than the other side, where the bar was. By the end, I couldn’t wait to leave.“

I tried the create your own pizza today and was very satisfied. Our son had grilled chicken. We will definitely be back.“

You can tell the owner knows their regulars and their normal orders which makes it family friendly and personable. Prices were fair ($14) for a bowl with tuna, salmon, and avocado along with many other toppings. Clean seating area and food prep station. We will be back!“

“Absolutely delicious Thanksgiving dinner we ordered! Staff helped me load to my car and it was ready when I arrived. The Turkey was smoked and my whole family loved it. The sides were very delicious as well, a lot better than what you get at the grocery store. I loved the sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce the best. Tastes homemade and absolutely amazing!! “Sharon and Susan were both incredibly welcoming and kind! For my meal, I opted for the chicken chorizo hash with eggs over easy, accompanied by potatoes, peppers, onions, and cheese. I thought the dish could have been enhanced with some queso since it felt a bit dry (might have been because I left the salsa off). Although they offer the hangover hash, it doesn't include a biscuit. The biscuit 👌🏼 and the jelly they serve is truly exceptional. I also had the grits, which were definitely creamy and pretty good—probably some of the best grits I've had at a restaurant for sure. I decided to try the grilled macaroni and cheese, which was a baked and grilled version. While it was tasty, I believe it could have been more flavorful, but it was still enjoyable. My main issue was that the food on my breakfast plate wasn't warm enough; I prefer to see steam rising from my food. Despite that, everyone was very pleasant, and the menu is quite impressive. My only suggestion would be to ensure that the food is served hot and to pay attention to any lint on the plates from the drying process. Overall, it's a nice, straightforward breakfast spot with a unique menu.

Debbie was very responsive and worked with us in designing a cake that matched the theme of the birthday. Moreover, a couple family members came over the day after the birthday party to have another slice because the cake was that good.
