“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.“

“We’ve passed by so many times and always see a bunch of cars. We finally stopped in last night and we are so glad we did. Drinks were great, our server was fantastic. I think her name was Gretta. She gave us food suggestions and was very attentive. Food was great. Hubby had the Sea Bass special and I had the pork belly and scallops. Both delicious. The baklava pie was out of this world. I think we will be stopping by again while we are visiting. Highly recommended. Lots of people waiting for a table and take out. We loved the vibe and decor.“

“Locals from Fairview and our first time at the glass onion. Met some wonderful cousins from out of town. Started with the pear and beet salad, which was delicious. Then of course we had to share an order of the wonderful fries. I had the trout and substituted kale for the side dishes. They also made a gluten-free for me. My husband had a ribeye which he says was one of the best he's ever had. My cousins had the ravioli in the same and they loved it. The place is small and loud and I think we might've been the loudest of all. Interesting artwork on the walls and a real fast pace place. Will definitely be back.“

“We stopped here for breakfast at apx 11 am this morning, 07/07/23. We sat at the counter due to all seats being taken, busy place. Service was great, food was excellent, staff were all friendly and helpful and the camaraderie among them was easy and comfortable . The two 'grillmasters 'Bob' and ? sorry I forgot to ask her name ..were amazing to watch. 8 plates up and no tickets, mind boggling. “We went here for our anniversary and had an exceptional experience. We were given a card signed by the staff, congratulating us on our occasion, as well as given multiple free things to celebrate. The food was excellent, and they had an extremely extensive wine menu as well. The waitress was also excellent and checked in on it quite often. We were told by multiple staff members happy anniversary and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.“

“Great pork tenderloin and steak and nice presentation!! Pretty ambiance inside the restaurant and especially because the strip mall location is deceiving. The non-alcoholic chardonnay ordered by my friend did not taste like a chardonnay but more like a sparkling drink and the waiter kindly took it back and removed it from the bill. The 4 of us shared a delicious peach tart for dessert!“

“This was hands down one of the best breakfast spots we tried during our weekend getaway to Asheville. My boyfriend and I both got a bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit which was out of this world!! Reminded us of authentic southern homemade cooking, something hard to come by with many chain or franchise restaurants. Highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try!“

“First time at Salt Face Mule tonight. This place is awesome, highly recommend anyone in the Asheville area to come check this place out. Such a fun atmosphere, great food, and a great time all around. Our bartender Kyle was an awesome guy who gave us great recommendations for things to see and do while we’re visiting here. “Had an amazing meal and experience at Carmels. We had our two chihuahuas celebrating our wedding anniversary. We live a rather hectic life and this year after a tough year of tremendous loss of family members all we could get together was a day trip which is not the usual for our birthday to anniversary celebrations. We were tired and hungry and after being disappointed by a couple other spots that claimed to be “dog friendly “ now I believe all happened for a reason. My husband and I were met by awesome staff outside that loved on our fur babies and sat us at one of their outdoor patio tables then served us some of the most delicious food and stopped by randomly to love on our girls some more. Definitely highly recommend this place if you plan visiting Asheville. We will definitely be back.“

“We love our outings to Creekside - Georgia loves the chicken and fries and I had buffalo wings this time which I really enjoyed. I usually get the salad with smoked chicken and its my all time favorite. The staff are great and the atmosphere is cozy. So if you are looking for a great place to eat, with a good atmosphere and great eats - Creekside is my favorite place in East Asheville.“

“Had (another) great time (about our 15th time at the Estate). We stayed two nights and had a suite in the beautiful Inn at Biltmore Estate. The first night we just hung around the Inn and had a great dinner at the Biltmore Estate Dining Room. Elijah was our waiter and he was awesome, very helpful and attentive. My wife needs Gluten Free and they had all kinds of options and were very helpful. Breakfast the next morning (and Wednesday) was the same way, many options for her. Andrea was our server at breakfast both days and was fabulous. I did the buffet and the omelet that was made for me was awesome!
