“I had breakfast; two eggs over-medium, bacon, Grits, toast, and coffee. The food was cooked to order, hot, and delicious at a good price. The staff were attentive and pleasant, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Check it out if you haven't already, and I will look forward to eating there again.“

“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.“

“We’ve passed by so many times and always see a bunch of cars. We finally stopped in last night and we are so glad we did. Drinks were great, our server was fantastic. I think her name was Gretta. She gave us food suggestions and was very attentive. Food was great. Hubby had the Sea Bass special and I had the pork belly and scallops. Both delicious. The baklava pie was out of this world. I think we will be stopping by again while we are visiting. Highly recommended. Lots of people waiting for a table and take out. We loved the vibe and decor.“

“Greeted and seated upon arrival for 5:30pm reservation. We're learned that a little earlier provides a quieter environment vs. a later time. We had wonderful and attentive service. The cocktails and calamari starter were excellent. The 4 of us each had different entrees, and they were well- prepared and delicious. We shared their peanut butter pie, and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Such a special restaurant in charming Weaverville.“

“We stopped here for breakfast at apx 11 am this morning, 07/07/23. We sat at the counter due to all seats being taken, busy place. Service was great, food was excellent, staff were all friendly and helpful and the camaraderie among them was easy and comfortable . The two 'grillmasters 'Bob' and ? sorry I forgot to ask her name ..were amazing to watch. 8 plates up and no tickets, mind boggling. “my friends and I visited Monday after the herb festival and had the best food of our whole trip at Chestnut! they had the Eggs Benedict and I chose the burger gluten free. all our meals were amazing and the care our waitress put into asking about my gluten issues was so appreciated! I do believe it was the best gluten free burger fries and cheese tots I have eaten ever! Thank you so much for taking the time and going the extra mile for those of us with Celiac. “Me and my wife are here at cornerstone restaurant today and the food was absolutely delicious again the spaghetti and the meatballs, the Snickers cheesecake and Claire our waitress. She was a diamond for sure. Great personality. Fast response brought our food out very quickly and everything was A+plus would like to give her a big shout out. Even if the food was bad ! “Just went for my birthday dinner to the Rye Knot. We had the Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer. Solid. I had the smoked rye old fashioned and my GF had house margarita...both were delicious.
We both had steaks...a tenderloin and ribeye....perfectly done and seasoned very well.
Stephanie was our very attentive waitress and we had a chance to meet Bob and his wife ( owners ). Bob is a retired Navy Commander and that gives him bonus points in my book since I am a Jarhead from way back ;)

“We had a great time at Table. The staff was attentive and kind. The oysters were perfect. Sometimes oysters aren’t cleaned properly but these were and the taste was spot on with the mignonette. They had wonderful recommendations like the dark chocolate sorbet which was fantastic and made in house. Quiet place for a casual dining experience.“

“It been a really good place to eat till today and it was still good but the order was not what i ask for the to do it was even printed on the ticket to put the chicken in one box and the tater tots in another box instead they put one order of chicken tendes in a brown paper bag on top of the tater tots and put the second order of chicken tendes in another brown paper bag on top of French fries so i was extremely disappointed with the service today and I had ate their a lot I let it slide this time“

“I really love this place. It’s not fancy, but the food is solid and affordable …and the wonderful people who work there are especially happy and friendly to us every time we come in.

The only critique I would have is they could actually be open on Sundays because I would be there for breakfast consistently. There aren’t any other good breakfast spots that are fast and affordable.“

“Excellent service and timeliness of reservation. We were able to get in a little earlier than our reservation. Lump crab cake was excellent with the pickled cauliflower. We shared the trout with cauliflower mashed and carrots, as well as the pot roast with potatoes. All excellent for lactose intolerant eaters, especially the vegan apple crumble with almonds. Wonderful experience with the Georgia/Alabama appetizer!!“
