“This is one of our favorite spots in Asheville! We highly recommend and they also have an awesome market where you can purchase a yummy Curate Salsa de Aperitivo, spices that you can use to cook with at home, ham sandwiches to go, and so much other delicious flavors from Spain. “I am a foodie/food-snob. I admit it. I am so often disappointed by my restaurant experiences. Last night, my partner and i had one of the best meals in Asheville we can remember. Bold, sensual, well-balanced dishes (somewhere in the neighborhood Charleston's Xiao Bar Biscuit). Off the hook (if a little pricey) wine list.“

“Great find!!! We live in Mills River and were recommended to try Little Ds out. We are foodies and love to sit at the bar. The staff was inviting and made suggestions for us newbies. From the foccacia, to the cauliflower and the tartare, all was delicious. Then the steak and grouper were spot on. We had the creme brulee for dessert. Amazing! We will be back.“

“Wonderful experience at Tall John’s last night! We stopped in for appetizers and drinks. Everything was amazing! We had the special appetizer and mussels. Excellent wine menu, great atmosphere and overall amazing experience! We will definitely be back for brunch or dinner too! Side note- where can I find the bathroom wallpaper to purchase? Very interesting! 😊“

“I went for the first time last week as they were serving periogies and salads. There were 3 of us so we had a platter of 12 periogies and 2 salads, a beet salad and a green salad plus 2 flights of a mixture of wine and cider. We had a wonderful time sharing awesome delicious food, the clientele were amazing and so friendly and helpful along with tasty wine and cider. We ended the meal with a nice dessert. I would highly recommend this place for ambiance, food and the staff. Definitely 5 star place to try if you haven’t been. ⭐️?❤️“

“Amazing food. Best Italian food i have eaten. In a long time. They have indoors and indoors seating, plus a small bar with some stools. My wife and I had the chicken marsala and picatta, respectively, and both were amazing with yummy mash and broccoli. Definitely recommend this place.

“Visiting from Canton Ohio & we stopped in to enjoy a cup of chai & matcha tea at Farewell. Atmosphere is cool, boho chic & relaxing. By far the best chai I ve had yet ! Looking forward to stopping again my next visit to Asheville 😉“

“Really great food and excellent, friendly service. We were a group of four and had the pad wu sen (they accommodated a "light on the oil" request) cashew chicken, crispy rolls and edamame, and took home an order of mango sticky rice. We enjoyed every dish. We hope more people will give the restaurant a try!“

“Locals from Fairview and our first time at the glass onion. Met some wonderful cousins from out of town. Started with the pear and beet salad, which was delicious. Then of course we had to share an order of the wonderful fries. I had the trout and substituted kale for the side dishes. They also made a gluten-free for me. My husband had a ribeye which he says was one of the best he's ever had. My cousins had the ravioli in the same and they loved it. The place is small and loud and I think we might've been the loudest of all. Interesting artwork on the walls and a real fast pace place. Will definitely be back.“
