“I am a foodie/food-snob. I admit it. I am so often disappointed by my restaurant experiences. Last night, my partner and i had one of the best meals in Asheville we can remember. Bold, sensual, well-balanced dishes (somewhere in the neighborhood Charleston's Xiao Bar Biscuit). Off the hook (if a little pricey) wine list.“

“This is one of our favorite spots in Asheville! We highly recommend and they also have an awesome market where you can purchase a yummy Curate Salsa de Aperitivo, spices that you can use to cook with at home, ham sandwiches to go, and so much other delicious flavors from Spain. “Wonderful experience at Tall John’s last night! We stopped in for appetizers and drinks. Everything was amazing! We had the special appetizer and mussels. Excellent wine menu, great atmosphere and overall amazing experience! We will definitely be back for brunch or dinner too! Side note- where can I find the bathroom wallpaper to purchase? Very interesting! 😊“

“Amazing food. Best Italian food i have eaten. In a long time. They have indoors and indoors seating, plus a small bar with some stools. My wife and I had the chicken marsala and picatta, respectively, and both were amazing with yummy mash and broccoli. Definitely recommend this place.

“A friend and I came early on a weeknight and the atmosphere was great. Nice selection of vermouth. I tried a few, and then to ensure I was thorough, I tried a couple more.
I found the service exceptional and the staff friendly. Probably not the place if you want to dwell in a dark booth and down some Bud Light, but for a summer afternoon with a couple of refreshing drinks, B&B was 10/10.“

“Visiting from Canton Ohio & we stopped in to enjoy a cup of chai & matcha tea at Farewell. Atmosphere is cool, boho chic & relaxing. By far the best chai I ve had yet ! Looking forward to stopping again my next visit to Asheville 😉“

“Really great food and excellent, friendly service. We were a group of four and had the pad wu sen (they accommodated a "light on the oil" request) cashew chicken, crispy rolls and edamame, and took home an order of mango sticky rice. We enjoyed every dish. We hope more people will give the restaurant a try!“

“When we arrived to Glass Onion we learned the restaurant has new owners . Dinner was just good . Couldn't wait for dessert , We had Apple Crisp , The apple pieces were so large it was hard to enjoy . We noted on our reservation that we're celebrating our 39TH Anniversary , There was no mention to us , No CONGRATULATIONS or anything . Our server was excellent , He had served us before when we dined here . We will not be dining here again .“
