“Positive first. Door Dash delivery was excellent.Food arrived in bag that was staple with the invoice. We ordered from the lunch menu. Servings were large for lunch. The egg rolls were hot but sparsely filled. We ordered two different chicken dishes. Both with different and unique profiles. Both chicken dishes looked the same like sweet and sour chicken except one had some sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Both dishes tasted the same not like the Sesame Chicken or General Tao Chicken( no chili pepper in sauce) we had ordered. Both dishes tasted like sweet and sour chicken. Two basic dishes that should be a no brainer. Disappointed.“

“It has been so long since I found a Chinese restaurant like this, for 17 dollars I got an order of pork ribs pork fried rice and 8 crab ragoons. The pork was so tender and wasn't too fatty. The rice scared me at first glance because I don't like onions but it was perfect the onion was actually the perfect combo with everything. And th crab Rangoons were so crunchy. Will 1000000000% be coming back soon.“

“I've been going here regularly for 3 years now and I have brought so many people over who have also fallen in love with the place. I've had work lunches here, date nights, and just casual meals with friends.

The food is amazing and tastes fresh, it's a small and intimate atmosphere which makes for a nice cozy experience, and the owner is a wonderful woman who greets everyone with such happiness and respect. Her family is also wonderful and nice when you see them working there as well.

I truly believe this place is a hidden gem here in Charlotte and I consider this my favorite restaurant in the city.

And if you're curious my go-to order that never fails me is the Create Your Own Noodle Bowl, House Special, with Mai Fun Noodles, and a Fried Egg on top with a side of Edamame and an Iced Malaysian White Coffee. Sometimes I'll treat myself to the Steamed Custard Buns (so worth it) or switch it up for the Curry Chicken in Clay Pot if I want something spicy.“

“This place has single-handedly ruined Asian food for everyone. This is THE best Asian street. Period. Our server, Livi, was so sweet. She's the cutest. If you don't eat here, then you must like so-so food because you won't find better anywhere else.“

“i come here or get take out weekly. Its one of the best chinese restaurants I've been too in charlotte. the staff is warm and welcoming. the food is easily customizable. I've not had a bad meal here. i like the garlic sauce here with any meat. their spring rolls are killer good. I'm a fan of their soups especially hot and sour. it not a huge restaurant, but they have decorated it very nice. the food is always piping hot even the togo food... I enjoy it as often as I can. you should help support this mom and pop place. its well worth it.“

“Wait was a little long but they were very busy, continuous call in and walk in orders. My family ordered orange chicken, chicken with mushrooms, & sweet and sour chicken combos, all of which come with pork fried rice and egg rolls. Also ordered teriyaki chicken kabobs, plain and vegetable lo mein and egg drop soup. Everything was hot and delicious with large portions. I’m having leftovers for lunch! Price was reasonable. “Simply the best Chinese food around. I have celiac disease so finding a Chinese restaraunt to accommodate is a challange, but Julie is on top if it and Chin customizes my weekly lunch , or twice weekly lunch! There is nowhere else that compares. I can't comment on the fried food because I don't eat anything fried, but my husband does and gives it all 5 stars, too. I've never been disappointed with my meal even after a solid 12 years regularly, and my husband started eating there regularly probably 12 years before that! We miss it terribly when we go out of town, even for just a few days! I almost forgot to mention that it is very clean, extremely clean compared to almost every other Chinese food place I've ever eaten in.“

“I read reviews about Great Wall, so we ordered take out. It was delicious! My wife is very particular about Chinese food. She loved the vegetable fried rice, saying it was the best she ever had! The egg rolls were delicious. I got the Singapore Mei Fun and Chicken and vegetables. Again, delicious! Not greasy. Great service. Reasonable prices! We will be frequent visitors!

Someone from MingFu delivered a replacement to us. Impressive. They didn’t have to do that. But it was nice because it was all one person at my house had to eat.“

“This is an unassuming place tucked away in a shopping center. The atmosphere was simple. Lots of booths and self-serve tea in a fridge. That was cute to me. The place is run by a family. Very nice folks. Their service was good. Food came out quickly and was piping hot. Nice portion size, too. Now the taste was wow. This place had some of the best dumplings. The spring rolls were delicious. My entrée was really good. I had sesame shrimp. It was tangy and sweet. Really nice balance of flavor. The shrimp were huge. I had enough to share (but I didn't). “Lotus cafe is the best! I’ve been coming here since they opened and they are the only place that makes crispy scallion chicken! Which is the what I get every time. As well as their crab Rangoon! I don’t live as close as I used to, but I always get it whenever I’m in the area.“
