“The best seafood place in Ashe County. We went today after church. I ordered flounder fillet with french fries,slaw and hush puppies and it was enough to feed two. Fast service and food was fresh and delicious. Can't ask for any better than “
“My mother and I had brunch at the Loghouse. Mom ordered a chicken biscuit and I ordered a BLT. When our order came out, Mom had two biscuits because the HOMEMADE biscuits were smaller than usual that day and they wanted to ensure that Mom received what they've established as their norm. The service was second to none, they treated us like family and the food was nicely proportioned and delicious!As a bonus, Loghouse also has outdoor seating!Well done, Loghouse! Keep up the great service.Parking: Parking lot overlooking creek across the road. Also have covered outdoor seating!“
“The seafood was great! The slaw (which we got apparently by default) has cilantro mixed in which made for a unique flavor. The po'boys were a disappointment though--perhaps consider renaming to "shrimp sandwich"? On a burger bun with mixed greens and a bit of tomato and missing the remoulade we ordered. The 6 shrimp on the sandwich were tasty and fresh, but definitely not up to true po'boy standards. Don't bother with the fries either--flavorless and overcooked.“
