“Mom worked there for years. She taught me how to make that delicious slaw. I have never mastered the chili. As a kid, my favorite was was the cheese dog with chili and slaw. As an adult, I really like the hamburger with slaw. Years ago, Ed taught me how to make change on that old cash register. Great memories, great food!“

“Loved this place! This pizza is the best in Whiteville! The sauce is good, the perfect amount of cheese, and the crust is awesome. Great mozzarella sticks as well! Service was excellent, refills were always filled without my husband asking. Very nice staff! The place is also nicely decorated! Will be coming here again!“

“If you’re looking for old school burgers and hotdogs at a fair price then look no further. I haven’t had burgers this good since I was a child. I highly recommend this restaurant. And food prep is very quick. No long lines because they have a speedy system in place. Negatives are that the parking is very limited. This is only because the area around the building was developed after establishment and have squeezed them in but the drive thru moves quickly. Also they close at 2pm which is a little early for me. But overall, I think it’s a great place and I hope to see you there.“
“My first meal here was the 8 pc dark crispy fried chicken. It made for two spectacular dinners and a breakfast, especially since it included a giant bag of hushpuppies. That was a pleasant surprise.My second was the Brunswick Stew Special. I paid 8.99 plus tax for two pints and added the hushpuppies. Wish I could say that any of the stew made it through the night. It was fantastic!“
“We went for Valentine's dinner and the special menu was not only amazing but completely filling as well. The experience from entry, service, cleanliness to presentation was 5 star. If you have never been you really should put it on your list of places to go. We will return and I am sure we will enjoy it just as much.“
