“Great food and service for a fair price. I and my daughter had lunch today for her birthday. I had beef tips and rice with squash and cabbage and a roll and a ice tea. And I also carried home 3 meals for our family dinner. Great job Danny and staff. The Hines Family will be back soon to enjoy some more of your great food. “If you haven’t tried Rose and Rae’s, the next time you are in Burlington you should! They are a certified gluten free kitchen, and diabetic friendly bakery. We drive from Greensboro regularly, and have enjoyed the savory items, as well as the sweet treats! With no sugar added, and very low carbs, as a diabetic I’m able to eat the food with no spike in my blood sugar. The best part, it’s all delicious…..and you’d never know it wasn’t a “regular” meal or dessert. Support local, small business and enjoy a healthy, delicious product…..all at the same time!“

“This place is worth the trip onto campus for the delicious and creative tacos. The staff is very accommodating with substitutions as well. There isn't much seating inside, but they do to go and have outdoor seating.Vegetarian options: The fried green tomato taco is delicious and many of the sides are vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: They can swap the tortilla for a gf corn tortilla on any taco, and they can leave off or swap specified ingredients.“

“Just a good ol' local spot that feels like the folks dining in there have been going there for years and I've not experienced anybody from the patrons to the staff that has a bad attitude. The service is great, Betty friendly and professional and I've never gotten an order that I didn't like or was wrong in any way. It's my regular breakfast omelet go-to and as a newcomer here to Burlington, having a good spot to go and start the day offwith a good meal is suuuuper important! “First time going their and the food looks amazing. I got the Philly and it was decent but the veggies needed to be cooked a bit longer for tenderness and it could use some seasoning. Even with mayo the sandwich with cheese was slightly bland. The bun was amazing though. I will come back to try other dishes everything looks amazing especially breakfast.“

“I was visiting my friend in Burlington and my mom asked me to stop at Mayflower on my way home. I know their seafood is not good, so I asked my friend about this place. She stated it's good, so I pivoted and got seafood from here. My mom loved it!even after she had to heat it back up. Since we are an hour away. She stated she doesn't normally like restaurants coleslaw slaw but she enjoyed theirs. She also stated the fish was fried perfectly and the oysters were great. I knew it was good when she mentioned she would drive to Burlington to get some seafood (she doesn't like to drive) so it sounds like we will be back!“
“First time visiting a Biscuitville and was greeted by Jay as soon as we walked in. Took us a minute to decide, I ordered the Pancake platter with eggs, bacon and a side of grits, my daughter ordered the chicken biscuit and fries. She also had the Iced coffee. Jay came by our table to make sure everything was ok which my pancakes were actually cold to touch and the butter didn't melt. When I mentioned this to Jay, he asked if I wanted another order and brought me HOT pancakes. I appreciate Jay going over and beyond with customer service“
