McDonald's in Wilmington

“They keep forgetting to give me a straw at the drive thru but they are always nice when I ask for one.

Vegetarian options: No vegetarian meals. Coffee and fries and drinks though.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Happy meals, I've cream (when the machine is working?) and high chairs.

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking, ordering, seating and restrooms.“

“I love this McDonalds because it’s the one that reminds me of the one closest to my home. It’s also the best in Wilmington. They never get my order wrong and supply me with more than enough condiments. There’s also a middle aged lady who remembers my name and always on the move to help customers and staff it seems. I don’t know her name, but I believe she’s a manager. Her and others also seem to treat regulars nicely by starting up conversation. Most have a smile on their face. It’s honestly not typical of other McDonald’s locations in Wilmington, which is why this is the best! :)“

“I stop here every morning usually getting the same thing two breakfast burritos and a lemonade. I jumped on here to post about the ladies in the Drive-Thru this morning and just seeing the post that was posted before this, it's a Sunday give these ladies a break. “The staff is very friendly and helpful and the store is always nice and clean including the restrooms ?? also if you prefer cooked to order food they are happy to accommodate if you have the time to wait... They are timed in the drive thru to serve those in a hurry so if you have time to enjoy at a slower pace take a step inside and enjoy their newly renovated lobby with comfy cozy seats & plenty of electrical outlets for your devices with free refills... New staff members are great! Everywhere is having a hard time finding good workers these days! ?“

“I love this McDonald's and the workers are so treated ill mannered because of the rules they follow. When customers feel they should get what they want, they forget about the rules of engagement for all intentions. BOTTOM LINE if fastfood workers boycott at anytime, THEN YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH! “I don’t usually have standout experiences at McDonald’s, but today was different, and I need to share it, especially for this location. Today, we had to say goodbye to our cat. It was one of the hardest days. I stopped by the McDonald’s drive-thru to get a 4-piece nugget — chicken nuggets were her favorite treat, and it felt like a small way to honor her as her last meal When I got to the speaker, I couldn’t hold it together. I started crying as I placed my order. By the time I pulled up to the window, they gently told me the meal was on them. At both windows. I broke down in tears again. They even made them fresh for her. The kindness, the compassion — it meant more than I can put into words. Every person there showed genuine care in such a vulnerable moment. I’ve never experienced something like that, especially not at a fast food place. It reminded me that even in the smallest moments, people can show up with big hearts. Thank you to that McDonald’s crew. You truly made a difference today.“

“This is our absolute favorite McDonald's!! The people that work at this particular location go above and beyond every time we come here. I have to pass up two other locations just to get to this one and I always do because NONE of the other ones ever get my husband or my coffees correct and I just have to toss them out. They always get everything right and they are smiling and getting you off to a great start for the day. We really appreciate that team at 6860 market st. They all deserve a raise on the morning shift even the ones we don't see because there is no i in team. Keep up the amazing work down there guys.“

“I’ve been going to this same McDonald’s for over 15yrs, the customer service is always great especially the management. I love Mrs. Sherka,, Berry, Derrick, Ty G, Bella and Ms. Barbra they are awesome managers and employees. “This is my favorite McD’s in Wilmington. Every time I come here I get quick service (even when there’s a line at the drive thru - they are super fast) and the employees are always so kind. After going today I thought back and I’ve never had a bad experience, in fact I have had a handful of times where I’ve left there and actually called my husband to tell him how nice they were to me because that is unfortunately rare nowadays. You guys keep up the great work!!!“
