“I cannot say enough within this review to express how excellent Benny’s is. Firstly, the atmosphere is capturing from the exterior in. A beautiful, classic pizzeria with luxury table tops, stained glass fixtures, rustic wood floors and brick walls that provides an elegant yet warm feel throughout the dining experience. The service and hospitality were superb; every interaction from the host, bartender, server, and manager allowed me to feel welcomed and accommodated. Each member went above and beyond for my friend’s engagement celebration. We were greeted promptly and generously. I met the manager, Drew, and my server, Lauren, who were both fantastic. Lauren made us the best cocktails. She even juiced real apples to make the most phenomenal drink I have ever had. We ordered a pizza and Strombolis, which were all fantastic. They both came with a fresh salad and warm, crispy fries. We ended our experience with gelato, and even though our bellies were so full and happy, I don't think we could ever go back without getting the gelato for dessert. Everything was clean, beautiful, and tasty—just perfection. If you want a fun evening with exquisite food, friendly service, as well as a memorable experience, Benny’s is the place to go. Definitely a 10/10 all the way around and one of the best places in Wilmington to dine. Amazing for a celebration with friends and family or just a date night. Highly recommend!“

You can go old-school pepperoni or choose unique (Thai chicken) and healthier options (zucchini, spinach, artichoke heart, etc). Tuesday $10.99 large special is great! NY-style pizza ("XL-NY," I think) is also a great deal for those who like traditional toppings only.
I usually order online and it's always ready & waiting when I arrive. Occasionally, I order in person and get the staff's opinions and ideas. They are super nice, helpful, and service is very fast. The atmosphere is clean and neat, but the pizza is ALL bake-at-home. No dine-in. They don't sell cooked pizza.“

“I had a fried calzone tonight with Broccoli, sun dried tomatoes and xtra cheese. Never had a fried one before. All I can say is the ingredients taste so fresh! i wish the inside was hotter. I picked it up right as they took it out of the oven and made it home in 7 min. The food was in insulated bag. Probably have it baked next time. I was still very happy. Broccoli not soggy one bit, cheese perfect and sun dried tomatoes tasty!! i haven't had a calzone in years and I was very pleased. Maybe keep it in a deep friar a bit longer?“

Brie is hardworking and dedicated, ready with a joke to brighten your day. “Came here on a whim with the my GF mid afternoon. We shared a small greek salad and a medium pizza with feta and artichoke. The salad was plentiful for two people with the contents spilling over. The pizza was a good size with just the right amount of toppings for how thin the crust was. New York fold doable! The crust was bake just right to hold the toppings. It was on the sweeter side and was not embellished with herbs and such. Just a good crust overall.

Service was great granted there were only 6 tops when we arrived.

“It was 1230 a m when I ordered on the app and the food was cooked as if it were there first order of the day . You can tell when someone cares about there job weather it's shoveling poop or making pizzas they did it to the best of their ability. The pertty lady cooking and working the counter was nice fast and on point not to mention pizza garlic and cinnamon twist were excellent good job momma!!! ??

“Editing my 4 star review to a perfect 5 star. My brother and I went there today ( a Saturday ) during the lunch hour. He ordered 2 slices of pizza with 2 toppings on each. I ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza and a small pasta salad. A portion of one slice of my pizza had broken off, so he gave me another slice at no charge. Both my brother and I ordered water for our drinks. We were BEYOND satisfied with our bill, service, and food quality. My cheese pizza oozed with cheese. My pasta salad was delicious ? My bill was $10 and change. My brother's was $9 and change. No complaints WHATSOEVER ?????“

“What an amazing first experience we had tonight! My wife and I live in Myrtle Beach, but our child lives here. We are staying at their place watching their pets while they are away. This place has been on our to try list for a while now and we finally had the opportunity. What an incredible experience! The food was outstanding! The flavor was on point and the servings were huge! My wife and I each had an amazing pasta dish and split the largest piece of coconut cake we have ever seen. Not many people know how taxing and difficult it is to run a busy pizza shop with a staff of 8-10 people. So the fact that they are doing it with 2 is borderline super-human. “I am SO grateful to this Domino's. I accidently chose the wrong delivery address. I called the store ordered from and they transferred me to this store location. There was an area manager on duty who called me, fixed my problem and delivered a fresh hot order for my family's Friday night Pizza. Wicked grateful for Bob in Wilmington, NC :)“

“My delivery order tonight was an hour and a half late and I had to deliver it myself. I had to pick up myself after having waited over an hour for my order. We called multiple times with no answer and there was no other way to refund the order. When I arrived at the store I asked for a refund on the delivery charge since we were now picking up the pizza. There were maybe 7 employees including the manager where running around working. They let us know that about half of the scheduled employees did not show up for their shift. THIS MAN NOT ONLY MADE SURE TO GIVE US OUR REFUND BUT GAVE US A FREE PIZZA. This guy was sweating so much yet he was doing everything possible to still earn those FIVE stars. I am sure they are not getting many of these tonight but all of them deserve a raise. The pizza was delicious and this is the only time we have had any issue with this location!“
