“I made a last-minute decision to stop by for a #1 combo on my way home today and not was I surprised! I've stayed away from Burger King and actually haven't been this year because of several bad experiences with the ones closer to my home in Gastonia, however, I have to give credit where its due. The staff were all very nice from the order taker to the girl at the window and even when I called back to speak with the manager to tell her how good the food and service was the lady who answered the phone was very polite. To begin with, I had a special order with no lettuce, add cheese, and onion rings and everything was right for the first time in a long time!! The photo shows just how neatly my sandwich was prepared and wrapped. Normally there's ketchup and mayo running off the burger, but I have to say this was the neatest and freshest Whopper I think I have EVER eaten. Thank you to the kitchen staff and everyone who played their part in ensuring you have a satisfied customer. We're often quick to click a 1 star review and call managers when something is wrong with our food, but I wanted to do the opposite today because my burger was fixed the way I asked for it, it was fresh and hot as were my onion rings and even the diet coke was crispy (iykyk). Thank you Wingate Burger King for a wonderful dinner!! Great work managers & staff!!“

To the young man whose face said it all when he was forced to lie and say “we have no sides of pickles” because this is what he was told.
